I follow my mom outside the apartment. She sits down on the porch step, clutching her trembling fingertips.

I walk over and lean on the railing tensely. "Ok mom. Get straight to the point." I say plainly tired of the truth being kept from me.

"When we found you... there was this... barrier of bright blue flames... it was like it was protecting you... from something."

I jump up taking a few steps back.
"Wh- what are you saying?" I half shout.

"I'm trying to say. You might be a fairy." Mom says in one breath.

"Mom I'm not a fairy. I have no powers believe me I would have used them by now of I did." I think back to that one night that will forever haunt me for the rest of my life.

"It could have been hidden de-"
"I'm not a fairy. So stop trying to make it sound like I am." I snap at my mom. "A lot has happened today maybe more than I can handle." I say more softly.

Bloom bursts out of the front door.
"Hay she is waking up." She announces before stepping back inside.

I turn to follow her but my mom gently grabs my wrist. She looks me in the eyes. "There is something you are hiding from me Lola. I want you to tell me." She says not at all shy anymore.

"Mom I'm not hiding anything." I declare puling away. "Two years ago after you and Jake broke up you've had nightmares about something. You need to talk to someone about this. If you keep it all bottled up inside. Your going to eventually burst and loose control."

I shutter "I don't want to talk about it." I move away from her walking inside.

"How do you feel dear?" Vanessa sits on the arm of their couch.

The girl sits up. "Huh? I'm alright." She faces Bloom with a confused look on her face. "Thanks for helping me out." "Oh, it was nothing." Bloom brushes it off.

"My name is Stella" She introduces.
"My name is Bloom and this is my friend Lola." I give a slight wave and Stella looks at me with a slight hint of fear in her eyes.

"She can be a little intimidating but she is a sweetheart when she warms up to you" Vanessa declares.

"Its nice to meet you Stella." I hold out my hand out. She just stares at it with a confused look. "Your not from earth are you." I drop my hand.

"This is outrageous. She has to be from earth. Earth is the only place where their is oxygen."

"Their are lots of places we haven't explored yet. They might be able to travel at light speed or something like that." I reason with Mr. Mike.

"Should we call your parents, Stella?" Vanessa asks. "Um, that would be difficult. Have you heard of Solaria? It's a kingdom far, far away." She sure is a chatter box. Her and Bloom would be good friends. "I'm a fairy, you know. I was trying to get to Alfea castle, in the realm of magic. So I-"

"Oh, but of course!" Mr. Mike grabs the phone. "It doesn't take a genius to know this girl is seriously out of her mind." Stella growls then smirks. I thin line of magic flows from her pointer finger. Before my eyes the house phone turns into a piece of cabbage and the phone piece turns into a carrot.

"Uh!" Mr. Mike says out of shock. "All right you believe me now."

"A saw her and I believe her." Bloom says firmly. I cross my arms.

"Those creatures attacked me and I was forced to land here. Your daughter and Lola saved me. Bloom pushed back the ghouls with an energy shield."

"Actually, I don't know how I did it." She states. "A fairy doesn't need to know how. She just does it, that's all."
