Chapter 15 - Life without Midoriya

~Three years later~

~With Toga~

Toga walking into the lab, yawning. It was early in the morning and she was tired.

"Looks like someone didn't sleep." A woman said. A few other people gave a chuckle at that. The team was made up of one male and three females, including Toga and they were all very close, almost like a family. Toga sat on a chair and sighed, putting her hand on her swollen stomach.

After the fight with Bakugo, she and the other league of villains stopped doing villain work and all got jobs with the city. She, personally, worked with the police forensic unit. When new blood came in, she would taste it and turn into the person. They then could get a picture and it saved time and money but right now she was on leave from that, but still came in to help them with other things.

"Not my fault. Dabi wanted to come up with names but I told him there is only one name for our little boy." Toga said. The whole lab stopped.

"A boy? We are having a boy?" The male asked. Toga looked and gave a grin.

"Yep." She said. The whole place erupted in cheers.

"So, what are you naming him?" Another female asked. Toga smiled.

"Midoriya." She said. The lab got quiet before they hugged her. She then got tears. She kept the secret of Midoriya being alive but it killed her. It killed her everyday knowing the truth but she couldn't say anything or he would die. She had to watch her friends suffer, she had to watch her former boss suffer but most of all, she missed her friend dearly and had to live with the guilt of knowing the truth.

~with Dabi~

Dabi walked into the fire station and sighed. He was wearing his uniform but he was tired.

"You look awful man." One of his coworkers said. Dabi flipped him off.

"I found out the sex of my child and I was trying to convince Toga to re-naming him." Dabi said. The guy sat down.

"Oh, You don't like the name she picked?" He asked. Dabi was silent.

"No, I love it. It prefect. That's the problem." He said. The man looked confused.

"We are naming him Midoriya." Dabi said.

"Oh." He said. Everyone in town knew about Midoriya. Dabi, for the first time, wished he could cry. He then felt a hand on his shoulder.

"At least he will be honored." He said. Dabi looked at him, giving him a nod. An alarm when off and they got up, running. Time to save the city, just like Midoriya would want.

~With Kirishima.~

He was walking around a class room, watching his students. Today was an important test about how to retrieve information by cheating and not getting caught. All good heroes needed to know how to get information and this was the best way to do it. He had one question on each sheet that was answered and the students had to cheat to get the other answers. He taught middle school, but he let his student use their quirks and any other way to get the answers, he even let them work together, so he had to watch for notes being passed around. It was the only thing he did to remind him of his old, villainess ways.

"Banko, eyes on your sheet." Kirishima said and turned. Banko's eyes flew back to him and Kirishima walked up to him.

"Try to get it from just one eye." Kirishima said. Banko gave a nod. His quirk was slug and could stretch his eyes out far, just like a slug, and could make a mucus around his whole body. Kirshima then walked forward, leaning on his desk.

"Ok class. turn in your work. Remember, if I caught you cheating, you will get a half mark on one of your answers." He said. The class gave a groan. He had caught everyone at least once but they left and were laughing also. Kirishima smiled and looked at Banko's. He got every question but was only caught once. Kirishima gave a nod.

"Been busy?" He heard and looked, seeing his old teacher, Aizawa. Kirishima smiled and put the paper down.

"You know it. How are you?" Kirishima asked. Aizawa gave a nod.

"Been good. Just here to see how your doing." He said. Kirishima gave a frown and looked away from him. He heard Aizawa sigh and lean on the desk.

"I know its hard, but Midoriya would be proud of you all." Aizawa said. Kirishima had tears.

"I couldn't save him. I was a villain and yet I couldn't stop that monster from taking his life." Kirishima said. Aizawa looked at his former student.

"But he would be happy that your happy." Aizawa said. Kirishima looked at him. It's true, Midoriya would be. He would have smiled and said that he was doing a great job. Kirishima whipped his eyes.

"Y-Your right. Tomorrow, in honor of him, I will give my students a free day." Kirishima said. Aizawa smiled at that and gave a nod.

~With Shigaraki~

Shoto saw Shigaraki walk into his office out of the corner of his eye but Shoto was looking at a new case.

"Shigaraki, is that the report on the high jacking that Kurogiri was working on?" Shoto asked, turning the page of the file, but got no answer. He looked up, seeing Shigaraki looking at the picture of Midoriya he had hung up in his office in honor of his friend. It was of Midoriya smiling. Shoto put the file down and watched Shigaraki for a few minutes. He knew his best lieutenant missed his husband. He still wore his ring.

"Shigaraki." Shoto said. Shigaraki looked at him and walked over, handing him the file. Shoto took it, putting it down.

"Sit." Shoto said and Shigaraki obeyed.

"I miss him too." Shoto said. Shigaraki looked down. Shoto then stood.

"Come to my house. Momo is making homemade ramen for dinner. I know Touya would like to see you also." Shoto said. Shigaraki looked up at him and smiled. Touya was Shoto's son, named after his brother.

"No, no its ok. Go be with your family. Can I just stay for a bit and look at him?" Shigaraki asked. Shoto smiled and gave a nod. Kurogiri was still away on a long mission so he didn't mind.

"Of course. Take your time." He said, grabbing his coat and left. Shigaraki got up and walked to the picture.

"Midoriya." He said and had tears. The love he felt for his husband never left. He missed him. He wanted to save him. Every night he would cry, wanting to go and find him but then the nightmares began. It was of Bakugo killing Midoriya and Tomu. He clenched his fist and turned.

"You bastard." He said and walked from the station, seeing the sun was going down now, only to have two children run into him.
