*no smut but its a cute story  :) 

You fidgeted with your hair nervously waiting for the clock to hit ten. The Weasley twins, Ron and Harry had invited you to hang out with them in the Gryffindor common room the other day. You have never been there despite being friends with them for months now. You were especially nervous to see Fred since you've been crushing on him for a while now. You would never tell him though since you're sure he doesn't fancy you back. You did tell Hermoine, and you're really hoping she didn't tell Ron but they are dating after all. 

You pull yourself out of your thoughts and start to head over. You were slightly panting by the time you reached the common room. Small beads of sweat began to form on your forehead, but the windy, cold weather quickly dried them. Before you could knock on the door, you bumped into someone. It was Harry. 

"Harry, what are you doing? Aren't you going to hang out with us?" you ask. 

"There was a change of plans. Stay here for a minute," he says before quickly disappearing back into the room. A couple of minutes later, people start coming out of the room. This included Ron, Harry, and George. 

"Wait, wheres Fred?" you ask.  

"Wouldn't you love to know, (y/l/n)," George says smirking. 

"He's just teasing you. We are all going to practice," Ron says. 

"Why do you have practice at this time? And since when do you play quidditch," you ask George. 

*Silence

Great!

"Okay then. So...all the plans are canceled?" you ask crossing your arms. 

"It's not like we were going to do much," Ron whispers and George nudges him. 

"No, not totally. Fred is still available if you would like to hang out with him. He's in his room," Harry says. 

"Okay, then..." you say, awkwardly walking off to find Fred's room. It didn't take you long as you have been here before.

Not for those reasons. 

You're met with the smell of cinnamon and apple. It feels warm not only because of the dark colors but the environment, in general, giving you a sense of comfort. 

"Ron?" you hear Fred ask. 

"No, it's me," you meekly say. 

You sound like a MOUSE. 

"Oh! y/n, it's you. Come on in," he cheerfully replies, patting the empty spot next to his bed. 

"I can't believe they canceled our plans last minute, right?" you say chuckling a bit. 

This was such a lame attempt to break the ice. 

"What are you on about love? Did you hit your head?" he said laughing, gently placing his hand on your shoulder. Your stomach immediately tightened. 

"No, um. Harry, Ron, and George invited me to hang out with them in the common room but then they decided to cancel. I think they're at quidditch practice right now."

He gave you a puzzled look but then started smiling as it looked like he realized something. 

"I'm just going to say it because this is getting awkward. About a week ago, I overheard Hermoine talking to Ron. She said you fancied me so I asked Harry if he knew and since he's terrible at lying, I found out it was indeed true..."

Before he can continue you cut him off. 

"You know what. I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have come here because I made things weird and I should just go," you said getting off the bed. You didn't get far as you felt his hand wrap around your arm and pull you back down on the bed. 

"Listen, y/n. I like you too. I have always fancied you. Since the day I met you, actually. You're kind, beautiful, and smart. I was going to ask you out and had this big plan but it looks like that's not going to happen. So... would you like to be my girlfriend?" he asked cupping your face and bringing you slightly closer to him. 

"Yes, of course."

He pulled you in for a kiss as you felt fireworks erupt in your stomach. You were extremely nervous but also ecstatic. 

"Imagine if this was just all one big elaborate prank."

"Oh, shut up Fred!" you said lightly punching his shoulder.
