Hades sat in his living room lounge chair staring out of the huge glass window; looking over the Underworld. It was a rich city, the stores were bustling, the clubs and casinos were never empty, and the streets were busy. It was a boy city though, it was never polluted and it wasn't any crime rates.

But Hades was incredibly bored. He felt as if something was missing and that every day was practically the same. He wakes up, someone dies, he works out, someone dies, the city gets busier and continues to evolve, someone dies. Minx blows up his phone or shows up at his house, someone dies, he takes care of Cerberus, and someone dies.

Do you see a pattern here?

He looked down at the whiskey glass in his hand. It looked small in his hand, he brought it up to his lips; throwing his head back down the rest of its continents. He was invited to one of Aphrodite's parties, it not that he hated going to them, it's that he could only stand the envious goddess for so long. She invited everyone and of course, everyone came.

But some Gods and Goddesses can't stand each other, while others get along well. It's tension in the air, there are drinks in the mix, and cheaters at the center. It was a setup for disaster, she wasn't biologically related to anyone but was close with Demeter who treated her like her own child. But Aphrodite was very jealous of Persephone, Demeter's biological child.

There were rumors that Persephone was going to be there tonight. Aphrodite couldn't kill her but she could make her life hell, that alone gave Hades one hundred and one reason not to go. But he never leaves his house according to Zeus and he needs to get out more.

He could barely name the Gods and Goddesses by their faces.

He let out a long sigh, he put his glass down on the table next to him. He sighed and stood up, he walked closer to his window that also served as a wall. He was the highest up so no one could see him, he looked at the tall buildings flashing with colorful lights. He decided that he shouldn't stay in tonight, what's the harm in going.
