She still hasn't woken up because I've checked on her about 4 times. I decided to go down to the store and get her some flowers. Everyone loves flowers.

I drove to a place called "Clifford's flower shop" and met face to face with a guy with purple hair. "how can I help ya" he said. His name tag read 'Michael' "Can I get one of each flower in a bouquet" I said "that's gonna be a lot of money bro" he said "yeah I have that" I said and he told the people in the back what to do. "Nice shirt man" he said referring to my blink 182 shirt. "Thanks" "are you new here I've never seen you around" he said "yeah just moved in a couple of days ago" I replied "Well if you need someone to show you around or if you want to hang here's my number" he said and gave me a slit of paper "thanks man" I replied, "I know some cool places if you ever want to check them out" he said handing me a huge bouquet of flowers. I thanked him and gave him my credit card. "thanks man" I said and walked out.

As I drove down the street people would stare at me during red lights at the flowers and old people would smile as if they were reminiscing. I parked in my driveway & put my keys in my pocket and walked to Cassie's door. I walked up the stairs and I heard the shower on so I decided to sit on her bed and wait.

She came out in an oversized tee and leggings she spotted me and her eyes lit up a little but I had the bouquet behind my back and it barely fit.

"I'm sorry to barge in - I - I just wanted to check up on you" I said "I saw you coming before you walked in, I hopped in the shower so I could think of what to say to you" She replied. "You don't have to, im going to take care of you and I don't care what you say okay? I won't let you push me away cass, i care." I said and a smile played across her face. "Im just a little embarrassed that you saw me like that" she said and I stood up and pulled out the bouquet of flowers and her eyes were bright with happiness. "Oh Luke, you didn't have to spend money on me" she said holding the flowers "I wanted to. Because you're a strong special person and I know we just met but we have that connection and I care" I babbled. She placed the bouquet on her window bench and sat down criss crossed. "Luke I really want to thank you for everything" she said grabbing my hand and caressing it. "I had to tell my mom about last night because she was worried why I was gone but don't freak out because she knows what's going on" I said and she looked scared

"Luke she probably thinks I'm crazy" she said "No she doesnt, my brother Andy passed away a year ago he was what they called passive depressive and acted like you did but 10x worse and he eventually gave up when my dad left us, so she knows & I know" I said and her face changed and she scooted closer to me. "Luke I'm so sorry" she said and kissed my cheek "it's okay, don't worry about me, we need to focus on you, but my mom wanted me to invite you to dinner at our place tonight" I said "Do you want me there?" She said "of course, I'd love to have you over." I said and she smiled and laid her head in my lap.

We're currently at the dinner table and my mom and Cassie are chatting away about girl things. "I know you guys just met but Lukey here hasn't had a girlfriend in a while" my mom said and her and Cass lightly chuckled "oh great, thanks mom" I said and I felt Cassie put her hand on my thigh comforting me. I looked over at her and she smiled.

"Cassie you really are welcome anytime & I know Luke will probably be staying with you for a while, but if you ever need anything you can come here whenever you'd like" My mom said and Cassie gave her hug "Thank you so much Ms.Hemmings" "no, no,no call me Ashley" she said and I kissed my mom on the cheek.
