"So let me get this straight." Rey inhaled, trying to remain composed as you explain what happened. The men had graciously allowed you to explain things from your perspective, but appeared antsy to hear Rey's take. "He tried to stalk you, and when he couldn't he drove up onto the sidewalk and nearly ran you over instead.""Well... no. Not exactly." You replied, shaking your head. "It's hard to explain. We have an... understanding. It isn't stalking it's more like... he... keeps track of where I am."
"Pretty sure that's the definition of stalking." Poe interjected.
You could have hit him. This was hard enough for you to wrap your head around, let alone convince other's that the behavior that Kylo had demonstrated was not only justified but normal.
"Listen... I understand that you are just trying to look out for me, but please trust my judgement. Kylo was freaked out because of the rally, he is very familiar with Snoke and had good reason to believe that I would be in danger. I don't quite understand it myself, but I trust him. So please, trust me." You pulled at the end of the long sleeve shirt that was worn under your scrubs, your anxiety bubbling to the surface.
After a few pensive minutes, Rey finally sighed. "Ok."
"Thank you." You replied.
The four of you remained quiet, pecking at the food on your trays. As the weather grew colder, the food served on campus grew heartier. Today, the were serving chicken noodle soup and you had a healthy serving, as well as some bread.
The cafeteria was oddly empty. It was midterm season and everyone was either in the library or huddled in small groups in the quieter areas of the school. The medical program students looked absolutely wrecked, yourself included.
However, last night had been some of the best sleep of your life. There was something about falling asleep with someone that just felt so much better than going to sleep alone. On top of that, it was the first time you had woken up next to him.
His hair was haphazardly strewn over the pillow and his face looked serene. The tension that he held in his jaw almost always was nowhere to be found, and you had spent at least thirty minutes studying the lines of his face. You were keen on memorizing every single mole, every bump and crevice. He was beautiful and you wouldn't be foolish enough to miss out on marveling at the masterpiece of his existence.
"So, we're coming over after class, right?" Poe spoke, drawing you from your Kylo Ren induced daydream.
Ugh. Right. "Yes, I don't have too much stuff, with the four of us we can probable be done by tonight and then just worry about polishing the place up for the new owner." You didn't attempt to conceal the venom from your voice.
"I still think we should try to fight the eviction. Surely it against some law to only give you three days to vacate." Rey added.
Frankly, you didn't have any fight in you. Between the emotional rollercoaster of Kylo and midterms and just general exhaustion - you were tired. Your shoulders sagged in defeat and you groaned. "I am just so bummed. I liked that place so much."
Finn reached over and patted your shoulder. "We will just have to find you someplace better."
Always the optimist. Truth be told, you did have somewhere better. They just didn't know it.
"Let's just get through packing first," You sighed.

When you, Rey, Finn and Poe arrived with several disassembled boxes and rolls of bubble wrap and other packing tools at the apartment - you were surprised to see the door cracked open.
You ventured up the stairs, albeit cautiously, and peered through the crack.
"Is someone in there?" Finn whispered, directly behind you.
Wasting no further time, you pushed the door open with your foot and the four of you audibly gasped.
"What the fuck?" Rey said, her voice revealing she was shocked, just as the rest of you.
"Where is everything?" Poe asked.
The entire apartment appeared as though you had never lived there. You crossed the threshold and dumped the stack of boxes you had under you arm in seek of the bathroom.
The bathroom was also cleared out, right down to the shower curtain.
Your mind was spinning. Where the fuck was all your stuff?
"Uh..." Poe called your name from the kitchen and you quickly made your way back to the group. Your heart was racing, had someone broke in and stole everything? Had your landlord just dumped your stuff somewhere because you were taking too long to move it?
When your eyes finally caught what Poe was bringing to your attention, you snatched it out of his hand.
Written on the back of one of Kylo Ren's business cards, was the elegant and precise handwriting that you recognized as his.
Storage Unit No. 341. Combination: 11-25-12-15.
Kylo Ren had done it again. Pulling out your phone, you gave the group an apologetic smile and stepped back into the hallway. On the first ring, Kylo picked up.
"I assume you got my surprise, then?"
Your eyes rolled. Though you were astonishingly grateful, he could've asked instead of breaking and entering not to mention that he did so without ever telling you he would. Last night flashed across your mind in a series of images. All of which showcased you, in his arms. The anger dissipated.
"Thank you. I don't know what to say."
"Come over tonight, then. We can hammer out a thank-you together."
He was being playful. You giggled. "I'm sure I owe Finn, Poe, and Rey an apology. I wasted their precious time in the middle of midterms. Which I also haven't studied for."
Kylo growled through the phone and the sound of it through the speaker made your flesh erupt with goosebumps. "How about you all come here? I can have Vicrul make some brain food, and you can have a study session. After, you can spend the night."
"Wait, really? You don't mind?" You couldn't hide the surprise from your tone. Kylo Ren didn't seem the friendly type - even to you - his... whatever you are. After his very public road rage episode, you weren't sure it was even an invitation they would accept. "I'll have to ask them."
"Do that, button. Let me know." He hung up.
You stepped back into the, now empty, apartment and the three looked at you expectantly.
"Yeah... he's just your boss, right?" Poe nudged Finn with a sly smile and you shook your head.
"He invited you guys to Starkiller for dinner and somewhere to study." You said it nonchalantly.
You wish you had your camera out, to capture the beautiful moment that occurred as soon as the words left your mouth. Their mouths dropped open and they immediately looked at each other. Like they all wanted to show interest but wouldn't be the first to admit it.
"St-starkiller?" Finn repeated.
You nodded. "Yes. Starkiller Estates. Are you guys in or what? It would be a nice cozy spot to study, and the food is always delicious. I have to let him know so can you pick your jaws off the floor and decide-"
Rey spoke first. "Yes. Let's drop these boxes off in my trunk and then we can go. I don't mind driving."
