"Viney?!"Luz calls out the door as she spots the griffon riding dual trackerflying on Puddle around the Owl house tower.

"Hey Luz,did the dummy finally get his memories back?" Viney calls as herand Puddles land a significant ways off

"Yeah Edis back, why didn't you land and say something?" Luz calls andstarts walking over

"Yourweird bird tube thing spooked Puddles so bad she wouldn't listen tome, she just dropped the guy and flew off with me" Viney says anddismounts Puddles, who warbled anxiously and tried to grab the girlshood as she started towards the owl house "Hoot! You don't have toworry about me Hoot Hoot!" Hooty says but that just makes Puddleshiss at him , but that meant she had let go of Viney, who quicklyjogs over to Luz, who had moved away from Hooty.

"Glad tohear the guys okay, he coulda really gotten hurt if those things gotany more annoyed at him, Forgetme wasps aren't known for beingforgiving" Viney says

"I'm justglad you were nearby, wait... why were you there?" Luz asked

Viney smirksa bit and puts her hand on her hip "Me and Puddles were headingthere to study the same wasps, then we saw him trying to climb ontheir nests and we kinda just, scooped him up, he definitely gotstung so I knew Lord Calamity could help him with an antidote, he'sone of the Blights so I figured it'd be better to bring him here thanto take him somewhere official where they might ask a lot ofquestions, he might've gotten in a lot of trouble and he seemed likean okay guy on the flight back, heck for someone who just got stunglike 10 times he was kinda ecstatic to be getting carried off by agriffon" Viney says with a chuckle.

Luz smilesbrightly "Well you should come on in, its getting pretty dark"

Viney looksback at Puddles, who was still flaring at Hooty "Mmm, it's probablytoo dark to fly home now, Puddles is probably exhausted, even if shewont show it, is there somewhere she can rest for an hour? Preferablyaway from the bird tube"

Luz looksback at the house, glancing up at the broken tower "She couldprobably rest up there, Hooty should leave her alone"

Viney nodsand makes a gesture to Puddles, who stops glaring at Hooty, glancingup at the tower and slowly flying up to rest atop it and out ofsight.

Luz andViney head back into the Owl house.

Emira wasstill scowling at Edric who was now self-consciously hugging himself,not meeting her eye as he leaned against the back of the couch.

"Hey guys,this is Viney, she's a double tracker, like me!" Luz says "ActuallyLuz your in all the tracks, I'm only in two" Viney says andplayfully punches Luz's shoulder, who just grins in return.

Everyonelooks at Viney "Hey uh, thanks for saving my idiot of a brother"Emira calls over

"Noproblem, happy to help" Viney says and sends her a smile withclosed eyes, not seeing Emira blush just a little before turning herhead away.
