Magic's POV:
Magic, Splash, Lark, and Flower were walking across a field. It had been two days since they left. Lark and Flower were laughing. Lark tripped.
"Nice going, little brother," Flower teased. Lark stood up and gently swatted her.
"Hey, didn't you fall off a large platform the day before we left?" he asked.
"We don't discuss that!" Flower said quickly.
Splash rolled his eyes, but he was smiling.
Magic glanced at a pile of rocks. "What are those doing in the middle of a field?" she murmured. Suddenly, Splash froze.
"What is it?" Magic asked. Then she saw someone approaching quickly.
"Evil dimension," Splash muttered. He raised one hand. "Halt!" he shouted.
The person just approached quicker. "I halt for nobody!" she retorted. She turned towards Lark and shot something at him.
Lark dodged, and Flower grabbed his arm, pulling him away from the person. Magic turned to look at them.
"Lark!" she called. "Are you ok?"
Lark nodded.
Splash yelled suddenly. "Magic!"
Magic turned to see the person point her finger at the pile of rocks. She and her mentor were right by them.
Before Magic could react, Splash pushed her away from the rocks. She fell over. As she rolled onto her hands and knees, she looked back towards Splash, and gasped.
He was under the rocks.
"Splash!" Magic yelled. The person had disappeared. Magic pushed herself up and ran to the rocks. She tried to push them, but they were too heavy.
Lark came up and put a hand on her shoulder. "We have to go," he murmured.
"But-" Magic started.
"He would want us to," Flower said.
Magic paused, then nodded. She got up, and quickly walked away.
She would stop the evil dimension. For her family. For her dimension.
For her mentor.
