It was match day. Zachary Wellington Academy was playing against their rival school. Girl's soccer was bloody vicious. Jayden had noticed how these girls threw personal insults at each other, he wasn't used to things like this, basketball was unproblematic for him.

Jayden admired Cara for not giving into their bait. She kept her head cool and ignored all the insults thrown at her team by the opponent, even though her team was winning. Jayden didn't understand why these girls had the audacity to even try to berate their team when they were losing terribly. It was rather comical. The score was 3-0 and Cara had saved all the six goals the opponent strikers had attempted. It was because their defense was considerably weak due to Pari, a defender getting injured two days before the match, were she present, Cara wouldn't have to save six goals at all.

Jayden had excitedly driven along with Jackson and Andre to the stadium where the championship games were taking place. Christian, Yuri and Drew had also driven separately but all of them had found seats together, front row, right above where the Zachary team players were seated. He had gone as far as to make a banner which read 'Go Brownie!' in their school colours. He was excited for her, he was anxious for her and most importantly he was proud of her, he had never felt this adrenaline before, adrenaline you feel when you're not the one playing the game but someone close to you, someone important to you is right there on the field and you can't help but feel jittery for them.

Initially, he didn't know what to expect. In the long month that they had been friends, he had never attended her practice. When he saw her perform a fucking split to save the ball from rolling into the right corner with lightning speed, he knew, she was in her element. He watched as she flawlessly dived and caught the ball from entering the goal on multiple occasions. He loved it.

It was halftime now, the players were drinking fluids and talking game plays. Cara was gulping down on a bottle of water when she heard Jayden scream her name. He saw it coming but she didn't move in time and the ball hit her hard in the abdomen, sending a shooting pain through her ribs. He jumped out of his seat, worry etched his features and he ran towards her. Christian had the same idea because he followed.

"Are you okay?" Jayden asked, his hands on her shoulder looking at her with concern. She was breathing heavily but she nodded. He looked in the direction the ball had come from and saw a girl on the opponent team, smirking, she mouthed 'fat bitch' and Jayden had the urge to pummel the girl to death. He was respectful and would never raise his hand on any one let alone a woman but this girl was testing his limits. He looked at the referee who wasn't even paying attention, engrossed in his cell phone, fuck, he couldn't do anything about it.

"Don't bother. She's just jealous our team is better than theirs. We won't even see her after the matches are over so there's no point in starting fights." Cara looked between the two boys, Jayden was visibly angry and Christian looked like he could murder the bitch.

"Fuck no, I know you don't hold grudges and shit but that girl's gotta pay Cookie." Chris had his no nonsense look plastered on his face.

Cara nodded, "She will, but not right now. We need to win this match without discrepancies. Get Jack over here, I know just what to do."

Jayden beckoned for Jackson to join them and the boy was there in a heartbeat. "Jack, honey, remember when we were in that fight with the beer pong bros and you wanted to do that thing which I said you couldn't?"

Jackson nodded excitedly, "Yes."

Cara smirked, she looked evil in that moment and Jayden couldn't help but admire the mischief on her face, "It's time to do it, make mama proud."
