You sadly stared at your boyfriend as him and Tanaka complimented Kiyoko constantly. She sent you a look of guilt and pity causing you to look away. Hinata noticed your sad gaze and told Kageyama who also sent you a worried glance. The team had its 'tough' persona, but when it came to you they were very soft. You met their eyes and sent a reassuring smiles to them which calmed the boys down. You calmed a bit till a certain comment hit you. "Why cant you just be mine" Noya asked Kiyoko who stood stunned. You quickly picked up your bag and ran off in the rain as tears rolled down your cheeks. Your hair and clothes were soaked by the time you arrived at your location. You approached the noisy gymnasium and attempted to quietly open the door. The loud squeak caught you off guard and all eyes were on you. "Y/n-chan!" Oikawa and Iwaizumi called out shocked and quickly ran towards you. "What are you doing here?" Iwa quickly asked as Oikawa grabbed his volleyball jacket and slung it over your shoulders.
Your lip quivered as you looked up at the two males through teary eyes. Oikawa yelled at the team to continue practice while Iwaizumi led you to the upstairs balcony. Oikawa quickly joined you both. "Now tell us what happened?" Iwa asked with a worried tone. "H-he is always so h-hooked on her. H-he asked Kiyoko why she wont be his?" You stuttered out before breaking out into quiet sobs. Iwa quickly pulled you into his embrace while a fire grew within Oikawa. The three of you grew up together so there was no doubt that the two brunette volleyball players had a deep love for you. You suddenly heard a loud commotion and saw Karasuno players enter the building. You just remembered that there was a practice game scheduled today. "Shit hold on n/n" Iwa stated and quickly jogged downstairs. You turned to Oikawa and noticed the fire in his eyes.
You gently grabbed his hand causing him to look up at you. "I am okay" you tried to tell him but he saw right through your façade. "I will win for you, I promise" Oikawa stated and kissed your forehead before running downstairs. Oikawa quickly gathered his team and their playful expressions changed to an extremely serious one. The Karasuno players were confused with the changed aura until Daichi caught your eye. He saw the sadness and hurt held within them but did not understand the reason why. He quickly told the team before they looked over at you. You looked away and focused on Aoba Johsai's team. "It is okay" Oikawa mouth to you and you simply nodded as tears filled your eyes. You saw Nishinoya wink at Kiyoko and you quickly looked down shamefully. Oikawa caught wind of the flirtatious act as well and it pissed him off even more.
"Aoba Johsai's serve!" The referee called and threw the fall to Oikawa who held a deadly glare that you had only ever seen when he was extremely pissed and into a game. Oikawa took a deep breath before sending a strong serve over the net and down onto the court. Hinata and Tanaka stood shocked. "That was way more powerful than usual" Asahi commented with wide eyes. The game went on and Aobo Johsai ended up winning. You quickly ran downstairs and embraced Oikawa and Iwaizumi. Karasuno was quiet and obviously upset. "What the hell Y/n!" You are my girlfriend and you are over here cheering on the rivals! What type of girlfriend are you?" Noya screamed out of rage and bitterness. Your eyes welled with tears and Oikawa and Iwaizumi quickly shielded you from his sights.
"How dare you! You go and flirt with your damn manager in front of her eyes and think you have any right to talk to her like that you bas-" Oikawa began screaming but Iwa quickly grabbed him and pushed him back. "Get the hell off of our campus" Iwa growled, and Noya stood shocked and regret was present in his eyes. Oikawa quickly embraced you and whispered sweet nothings into your ear. "you could just move here, you know?" Oikawa suggested causing you to look up at him. "And you could fall in love with me" He whispered softly and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. "You know I can't" You stand softly. He nodded but didn't loosen his grip on your waist. "I will be back, okay?" You stated and gently rubbed the brunettes arm before he released you. You quickly ran to catch up with the Karasuno players. "Noya" You yelled causing the team to all look at you.
Back in the gym, Oikawa stared at the gym floor as Iwa cleaned up. "Cheer up shittykawa" Iwa said in attempts to lighten the mood. "What if she chooses him?" He asked sadly. Although Oikawa got much attention from girls, he only wanted you, it was always you. The squeak of the gymnasium door caught the males attention and he quickly turned to see you there. He ran over and stared into your eyes. "I choose you, Tooru Oikawa" You stated and a large grin broke out on to the setter's face. He engulfed you in his arms causing you to giggle. He went in to kiss you when a volleyball smacked him in the back of the head. "Iwa-chan" Tooru whined. You chuckled again and planted a kiss on the boy's cheek as he complained like a child about getting hit by his friend.
