The next few days were filled with moving me into the shop and figuring out how we were going to arrange the store. Over those few days Levi and I had gotten closer, his intimidating demeanor had faded slightly, he was even there with me when I had to give the key to my business into the bank.

"Are you opening today?" I asked finishing organizing the last box of books into the shelves.

"We, are we opening today." He corrected looking at me from behind the counter. "And yes we are. If you're not ready tough shit."

I laughed at his choice of words. "Don't worry, I'm ready. Do you want me to help you with anything? I don't know how busy I'll be with my business today."

"You need to stop thinking with that mindset. We share one business, we work together or not at all. We own each other's businesses just as much as our own now, think of it as fifty fifty. Though that doesn't mean I'm going to help you, just stop thinking of us separately when we're not anymore." I thought about his words for a minute before I nodded.

"Alright, than what are we doing today?" I asked.

"Can you bake?" He asked looking at me.

"Yes sir! I'm an excellent baker, I've been baking since I..." I paused trying to remember how long I've been baking for. "I don't actually remember when exactly I started baking, but that's not the point, the point is I know how to bake."

He chuckled lightly. "Alright, then you're on baking duty today, all you have to do is follow the recipes in the kitchen. I'll let you know if someone wants to buy a book, we can figure out each other's jobs later so I can sell the books too, but for now I'll just have you do it."

"Sounds like a plan!" I called walking into the back kitchen area with a determination in my bones as I got to baking.

Levi came into the kitchen to see that the pastries were done and on their respective platters. To Levi's surprise the kitchen was spotless, it was as if it hadn't been used at all.

Then his eyes landed on me covered in flour and laughed at my desperate attempts to wipe it off. "Levi! It won't come off!" I whined looking at him.

"That's because you're not doing it right." He came further into the kitchen grabbing a wash cloth and began wiping off the flour.

He started with my face, squishing and scrubbing my cheeks, it reminded me of when a child has something on their face and their mother mercilessly wipes it off. Once he was happy with his work, he lowered the rag to inspect my face.

We made eye contact and stayed there for a while. His eyes were truly gorgeous, the silvery blue was cold, but refreshing from the soft warm eyes I saw everyday.

As we were looking at each other having a moment, I felt an itch on my nose. I turned away quickly and sneezed into my arm, the one thing about my sneezes though is that they sound weird.

"Was that you're sneeze?" Levi asked jokingly. "What are you? A mouse? That was such a cute sneeze, if everyone sneezed like that I think it would be some kind of weird fetish people would have." Levi chuckled at his own joke.

"At least I don't sound like a bear when I sneeze!" I blushed profusely from embarrassment.

He placed his hand on my head and made a 'Tch'. "It was cute, I was only joking brat."

"I wasn't! Do you know how many times I've been sitting somewhere and someone sneezes and I jump because it's so loud and sounds like a bear?" I huffed thinking of the time someone sneezed and I screamed in front or a bunch of people because it startled me so bad.
