We had found our way to a park on a hill overlooking the city. Sitting on a park bench we were talking about little things, like stories we've read growing up.
"Growing up, I always read about happy endings and dreams coming true, I thought it could actually happen until I got older. I started to doubt it, I started to doubt I could have a happily ever after. Until I met you, it might sound stupid and cliche, but a lot changed when I met you, I had hope again." I looked up at the stars my eyes twinkling from wonder.
"That does sound stupid and cliche." He agreed with me nodding, which earned him a playful hit in the arm and a look. "But sometimes life should be allowed to be stupid and cliche, if you look at stories, they usually have a happy ending, what's so wrong with wanting that in real life?"
"There's nothing wrong with dreaming, it's true lessons can be learned through sorrow and bad endings, but I'd rather have an ending that can make me smile and feel all warm and fuzzy inside." I looked to him my eyes still filled with wonder.
"I want a happy ending too." He looked into my eyes, somehow his cold stare softened into one of many emotions. "I've learned enough through pain, I'm ready to have a happy ending. Even if I'm not the main character of the story, I want a happy ending."
"I think it's only fair." I looked back up to the stars. "At the very least, even if my story ends tragically, I'm glad I got to meet you, and to have you as my partner." I looked down to my hands in my lap feeling a blush spread across my face. "Sorry that's really cringe." I laughed softly.
"No, I liked it." Levi leaned in placing his hand in mine. "I know we just met, and I have no idea if your hands are clean, but even still I want to hold them. When I first met you, there was something drawing me to you, I still don't know what it was- and it would be stupid to assume, but I want it to be because I felt an instant attraction to you, I want it to be because you remind me of people from my past, in all the best ways. I want it to be because I knew from the first moment I saw you, that I wanted to be with you, even if just as work partners, I wanted to get to know you, I still do."
"I want to get to know you too, to be honest when I first met you, well you scared the crap out of me." He chuckled at my honesty. "I'm telling the truth! You were intimidating, but I still felt an attraction to you. I want to be attracted to you. You're like a tiny light, you lead me through the darkness of losing my business and showed me hope again. You remind me of, me."
"I've never felt this way towards someone before, I'm not really sure what I'm feeling, but I want to figure it out together." He held my hand tighter.
"Levi, I think I'm falling in love with you." I leaned in placing my forehead against his raising my free hand to his cheek. "And I want to pursue these feelings too."
Levi gave a small smile before closing the small gap between us. I closed my eyes leaning into the soft tender kiss, it was as if the whole world around us stopped, letting us have an eternity in each other's company, but our eternity came to an end too quickly, and we pulled apart.
"Y/n, I think I am in love with you. I don't want you to ever leave my side, I want to look over and see my partner next to me. I don't want to lose you, I want you to stay by my side forever."
He pulled me into his embrace holding me tightly. "Say you'll stay, if you just say you'll stay, I'll give you all I have. I'll provide and give you everything you want. Even if we don't end up together I want to spend the time I have with you."
"I want that too. I'll stay, I'll be with you. I can't promise what the future may hold, but I want you to be my present." I nestled into his chest smiling. "I want to kindle the sparks we have, let the tiny light become an inferno. Then I want to let that inferno burn us until there's nothing left, I want the fire to last beyond our time."
"Then let's do it, let's say damn the world and make our own." Levi stood up taking me with him.
"Let's do it!" I yelled throwing myself into his arms. "Just us two!"
Levi caught me and spun us around "We'll have the best teashop bookstore out there, we'll build it on memories and fill it with our friends, past and present."
"If the world wants to say differently, let's rip the pen from its hands and write our own ending." Levi placed his hand on my cheek, gently pulling my face towards him staring into my eyes, we could see all the possibilities, all we could be.
"I can see the world in your eyes, clearer then it's ever been before." Under the moonlight, in each other's arms we discussed everything, we stayed for hours just talking that night.
We were going to find a way no matter what. No matter what fate or destiny had to say, we were going to make it, and we'd do it together.
We'd stay by each other's side no matter the weather, no matter if we got on each other's nerves. If we put in a little effort we could make a happy ending just for the two of us.
We'd have a happily ever after.

Word count 1111I am absolutely in love with Levi, I have been since the show first started airing.
I wrote this story I while ago, and I really loved it. Recently with the last season coming out I've been back into reading Levi x readers and decided I'd read my own, cause why not? But then when I started reading it I realized it needed some love.
So instead of just simply reading it and enjoying it, as I had planned to do, I edited it all.
As always let me know what you thought of the story! And I hope you enjoyed Monachopsis Tea!
