Book One : "Hello Darling."

The flashlight flickered, as soon as I got out, I ran back in the direction of the apartments, making sure to follow the x's.

"Hey! My child I mean no harm!" The voice shouted as he began to run after me. He was catching up, but I was almost there. I ran around the corner of the building and bolted inside.

As soon as the buildings doors closed behind me, I burst into tears and fell to the ground shaking. The lady at the front desk ran over to help me up.

She managed to sit me down on the couch in the lobby, and went to give get issues.

"My goodness, what happened out there?" She said, at this time I calmed down slightly.

"The woods hic there was a man." I stumbled on my words, it was hard to talk after I had been whaling for so long.

"He ran after me.." I managed to say.

"Oh dear, you're alright now. You're safe and inside now." She rubbed my back.

"How about we check the cameras for the outside of the building? I'm sure they must have caught something." She stated, holding my hand and leading me to the door behind the desk.

I looked at the screens and she played through the recording.

I ran by, then I saw him. He was huge, taller then any human I've ever seen, he wore a suit and tie. Looking closer, I could see his 'face'.

"Oh my god! Look! He's fucking faceless!" I shouted, pointing to his face and the lady gasped.

I watched as he stopped, and I swear you can here static in the woods. Not from the tape, but from the woods.

The power went out, and I instantly reached for the lady that helped me, turned out she reached for me too. We both held onto eachother.

"Do you want me to turn on my flashlight..?" I whispered.

"No, but let's go in the corner of the room." She whispered back.

We both made our way to the corner and held onto each other while sitting on the floor.

"Come on out my child, If you come out, I won't have to use force and harm you, that would be the best outcome."
