Okie so this chapter we're gonna do a little time skip to a few days before the Hogsmade trip enjoy ❤️
Sev's POV:
It's Tuesday today and I'm really bored in the common room, I still don't have a date for Hogsmade and it's just a few days away I was thinking of asking James but I'm kinda nervous I don't know why cause like we're dating but I'm just really nervous about asking him, I was hoping he would ask me first but it seems as he hasn't thought of it yet
"Hey Sev!" Bellatrix called but I was too deep into thought to hear her, she was calling me over and over again but I just couldn't hear her then suddenly a pillow hit the back of my head and I jerked forwards
"ow!" I yelled standing up and turning around to see who threw the pillow at me, I saw Luci, Cissy and Bella there
"ugh! Why'd you hit me with a pillow?!" I groaned
"I Called you atleast 7 times" Bella shot at me
"oh sorry I didn't hear you I was a bit busy thinking about something" I apologised
"what were you thinking about?" Luci asked
"oh just the Hogsmade trip thingy ya know for Christmas and everything" I explained
"oh hasn't Potter asked you yet Sev?" Cissy asked
"no" I muttered
"well he better soon or I'm gonna jinx the shit out of him!" Bella scowled
"don't lay a finger on him" I warned
"but jixning him doesn't need me to put a finger on him" Bella joked
"ugh whatever I'm going to bed, night"
"goodnight" they all called
I couldn't sleep "what if James didn't want to ask me? What if he wants to go with someone else? Ugh I'm over thinking it!" I thought while staring up at the dark, empty ceiling it was about 2:25 in the morning and I was still awake pondering about James and the Hogsmade trip oh how stressful it was, not even a pinch of sleep seemed to hit me, I was wide awake at his time of the morning while thinking about this I slowly fell into a deep slumber (sleeping beauty 😂)

James's POV:
I just woke up and the others are all asleep still, it's exactly 7 in the morning too so I thought I would get up and get ready for breakfast, after freshening up I walked out of the bathroom in my pj's and made my way over to my bed, pulled the curtains and got dressed, the professors said that today we didn't have to wear our robes, and we could wear whatever we want but just to maintain our houses we need to wear our house colours so I just put on a casual red t-shirt and a yellow sweatshirt on my waist, with some pale white ripped jeans then walked down for breakfast, I was planning on asking Sev to be my date to Hogsmade and I think I'm gonna do it today in the astronomy tower, as I walked down I saw a bunch of girls blocking the corridors
"oh no here we go again" I thought and as soon as the girls spotted me they came running my way, this past week girls have been asking me if I want to be their date to Hogsmade and everytime my answer would be no like why can't they get it? I'm gay!
"oh my God James I was gonna ask you something~ do you wan-" but she couldn't finish her sentence as another girl cut her off
"hey James wanna be MY date to Hogsmade?" she asked batting her eyelashes all flirty like
"no James is going with me! Right James?" another girl asked looking at me trying to be cute
"nuh - uh he's going with me!" some other girl said
"haha very funny! We all know James is going with me!" another one shouted
ugh! I could rip my hair out right now hearing their argument, I felt like my ears were gonna bleed any second now!
And without saying anything I walked off leaving the girls all confused about what just happened
I was NOT going to deal with them right now, I have a very important thing to ask someone but first I gotta get to the great hall for breakfast
I walked as fast as I could and almost tripped over my own feet as I got to the bottom I heard someone whispering it sounded like two girls? But then I heard a familiar voice of a particular red head I know huh what's she doing here? And who the heck is she whispering to? I thought, being extremely careful I peaked a little over the edge to see who was there, it was Lily and Mary Mcdonald?! What were they whispering about? I listened closely so I could hear
"so when are we gonna reveal our relationship?" Mary asked
"huh? Relationship?!" I thought
is this her girlfriend? The one Lily was talking about that day?
"I....don't know I mean I told James that day, that I was lesbian and dating someone but I didn't say who" Lily replied very quietly
"so he's the first one to know half of this?" Mary asked raising an eyebrow
"well technically yes" Lily muttered
"alright well I guess your still not ready to tell anyone are you?"
"no...." Lily huffed
"it's fine you can take your time now come here" Mary said holding out her arms as a sign for a hug, just as she had spread her arms Lily jumped into them
"I love you" Lily whispered
"I love you too~"
Well I just heard that....... I mean you know what I'm just gonna pretend that I heard no such thing and go into the great hall,
oh geez that place was crowded but the only person I could see was Severus sitting there, he looked so cute, he was wearing green, black and gray, his tights were black and his long sleeve shirt was a bit big on him but it looked hot his shirt was black with a green cat face on it,

After I finished my breakfast I waited for Sev to look my way I didn't have to wait long tho, as soon as I caught his eye I motioned towards the door then got up and left, I could sense that he was behind me after we were outside and it was safe to be ourselves again I stopped very suddenly making Severus bump into me then stumble back
"ow" he muttered rubbing the sid eof his forehead
"anyway what did you need me for James?" he asked
"well I was gonna ask if you wanna be my date to Hogsmade?" I looked into his eyes while holding his hands and saying this
"of course James!" he gushed hugging me
"awwww how cute was he?" I thought
