I was too young to know. Too stupid to understand. To understand all the troubles my mom and dad had to go through.
I was born on July 12, my parents named me Kirbie so I could be a happy and healthy person, just like the video game character. But I wasn't. My dad had a sudden heart attack when I was 3 years old. I can't remember anything about my dad, the only thing that remains is the pictures my mom keeps under her bed. But the sadness didn't hit me since I was so stupid. I would still go to school every day, but I wouldn't care for it. I would skip classes, flunk tests, and come home and expect a fully cooked meal from my mom.
I'm not stupid anymore, I know how hard it was for my mom to lose her husband and raise me at the same time.
