Virgil stared at Janus, burning daggers into him with his eyes. "How fucking dare you!" Virgil snapped, hissing at the deceitful side. "I know you cheated, Janus!" The anxious one continued on, "this is why we can't have family game nights!" he growled, the hurt clear in his tone.
"No, Hot Topic," Janus purred, his voice dripping like the sweetest of honey, "we don't have family game nights anymore because it always has a negative effect on Thomas." Janus continued, "The light sides get to have all the fun while we're shoved farther and farther into the background where we apparently belong." He hissed, his tone gaining a razor sharp edge to it. Virgil sighed, wishing deceit wasn't right but he knew he was. The light sides got everything. Happiness, Thomas's attention, love... Was it so much to ask for that everyone be treated as equals?
Virgil rose from the small wooden table he, Remus and Janus had just been sitting at. He set his Uno cards down and stretched out his back, yawning as he did so. "I'ma retreat to my room if you all don't mind." He said as hs slunk back to his corner of the darkness. He opened his black and purple door, making sure to close and lock it behind him. Was being treated fairly, with the same love and respect as the others really all that much to ask for?
He stared off into space for what seemed like forever before he heard a knock on his door. "I'm not in the mood to deal with people currently." Virgil groaned.
"Ya know I'll find a way in one way or another, so might as well make it easier on yourself." Virgil knew he was right, god he hated admitting that the others could be right. "Fine. Come in." Virgil sighed, flicking his had to unlock the door. He just wanted to be alone with his thoughts.
Remus practically came bouncing into the room pride glowing in his eyes. "Virgy! I've had just the most wondrous idea ever!" He squealed. Virgil rolled his eyes, flopping over on his bed. Remus's version of a 'good idea' was usually pretty demented or disturbing and they were never anything he wanted to be involved in. "What now Remus." Virgil half growled half hissed out. Remus plopped himself on the bes next to where Virgil lay. "Well, here's what I've been thinking." Remus said, then started explaining his master plan of how he'd get even the dark sides accepted. Virgil sat up, looking more and more interested by the moment as Remus explained. "That's so crazy it might just work." Virgil mussed, regaining his energy. "I figured you'd be the most likely to agree to it. Now just to convince Janus." Remus giggled happily.
