Roman sat at the dining table scarfing down some of Patton's amazing pancakes. "These are great, Pat!" Roman declared, shoving yet another pancake into his already stuffed mouth. Patton chuckled watching Roman with delight. "Glad you like them so much kiddo!" He beamed. Logan gave a slight nod to Patton. "Thank you for making delectable pancakes that are also healthy." He said, savoring the flavor of his own pancake. Logan smiled to himself, content, this was a perfect day in the sanders mindscape. Everything was calm and serene. Just the three of them. This was perfection.
The three sides all hung around simply enjoying each others company, no worries, no problems, none of the hate or fear that the others dealt with, just pure love. Patton reached over the table and snatched a pancake off of Roman's overflowing pile. "It was harder than I had first thought it would be to find the proper mix of healthy and tasty, but I sure am glad I did!" Patton beamed, clapping his hands happily, "I'm so happy you both like them so much!" He cried out, so proud of the other two agreeing on something. "E equals MC scared!" Logan called out, startled by Patton heightened voice.
Patton looked down, "sorry kiddo, was that too loud?" The fatherly side asked meekly. "You're quite alright, Pat. I was just lost in thought, that's all." Logan replied adding a cheerful hint to his tone. "If you don't mind I have work that must be completed before we film the next video tomorrow." Logan said, politely excusing himself. Patton nodded and Roman just gave a thumbs up to Logan, too busy enjoying the breakfast to properly acknowledge the logical side.
After Roman had finished eating he and patton had gotten all the dished washed and put away. The two sides sat cuddled together on the couch, watching some old Disney movie Roman had found lying around. "I thought you had work to do today too, kiddo?" Patton questioned after the movie had finished playing the end credits. Roman looked at the ground sheepishly. "I...I do, yes, but I also can just imagine how lonely it must get being the only one who's work doesn't whisk you away all day long. I feel bad leaving you to your own devices for days on end. I mean, you only really see the Pocket Protector and I together during meals. I wish there were someone for you to hang out with, that's all." Roman confessed, wrapping his arms around himself sadly.
Patton just shrugged his shoulders, plastering a smile on his face. "I understand. If you have work to do go ahead, I'll be just fine." Roman wasn't fully convinced but he did have a lot of work to do. He'd been neglecting it for a few weeks now and was running dangerously low on his backup ideas. So with a sigh he resolved himself to his work.
Roman walked off, headed to the creative twins' room. Roman and remus shared a 'creativity space' as Roman called it, a place for the both of them to do their works. Patton heaved a sigh, his smile fading and shoulders dropping seconds after Roman had walk out of sight of the living space. He trudged back to his room, always being happy himself And keeping thomas happy And keeping the others from bickering was an extremely hard task to perform. It was quite draining. He flopped down onto his bed, exhausted sleeping almost instantly.
