basketball

so Jean and Christina came over to play basketball the day after I met Jean he was pretty good I had never tried to shoot a goal I just liked to dribble then Jean told me to shoot a goal I stuttered  well I guess I should at least try I was after all 8 so I started dribbling then I shot the ball I have a glass backboard it went and shattered a small area of the backboard and the ball was stuck we all looked worried we told my dad he said that he was busy and told us to try to get it down we tried for a week throwing stones and swinging a broom at it then finally me and Jean got a ladder we set it up and got the ball down it took Jean a few minutes to get it out of the backboard me and Christina were holding the ladder in place when he got it down he looked at me and said"next time try not to break something that thing was stuck pretty good" me and Christina laughed so hard that we fell in the grass laughing now I knew to stick with dribbling
