a day in the woods

so Christina had left for the weekend and I was hanging out with Jean cuz my parents were working on the new house so Jeans mum said that she would keep an eye on me I was 9 at the time anyway so me and Jean were playing his Xbox then his mum came in and told us to stop being couch potatoes and goplay outside jean asked if we could go to his picnic spot so his mum packed our picnic and we both made ourselves a snow cone

it took us 15 minutes to get to the cleared area that jean has picnics in we unpacked our snacks and when we were done we had the best idea we decided to build a hut we drew a plan in the dirt then we got together suplies when we were done it did look like it was built by kids cause we used sticks, grass, and mud but it could easly fit 5 people so then jean got the two pocket knives that he had packed and we made a sign that had mine, his, and christina's name on it we kept on playing in our hut then we made spears with some sticks we decided to make another hut we made another one exept bigger it could fit 8 people and something like a fan so we relized another cleared out area then we went over there we also found some old rubber bands we went and looked around for a nice stick that way we could make sling shots when we were done making them we made a little hut that could easly fit about 5 people like the first on we also made a sign and engraved wepon shed

we played around made some more spears and wepons then decided to go fishing in the creek right next to the picnic area so we went back to jeans house his mum was suprised when we told her about the huts and got us some raw hot dogs and fishing poles we made the 10 minute walk back to the area and then took a few minute trail to the creek we set up and then we sat and waited for 5 minutes i finally got a bite after a minute I fully realled it in I got a nice 4 foot long bass then jean got a bite he started realing in the fish but it was to strong I offerd to help but he said no then he fell into the creek I was laughing so hard i fell in to then I took the rod and saw a fooot long bass both me and him started laughing cause we were both in the creek cause of a foot long bass

we both decided that it was getting late so we put all our wepons up and got our fish we brought them back to his house his mum was laughing about us fishing took pictures of us with our fish she said that my mum had came by after we had left to go fishing and that I could stay over the night since jean had a day off from school the next day and my mum said that I didn't have homework the next day so we decided to camp in one of our huts jeans mum said that it was ok and that when jeans dad was back he would bring us and help us set up camp and a fire so as we waited we played his Xbox and after 30 minutes his dad was back we packed up and left I had so much fun that night and was sad to leave the next afternoon but i had fun and that was all that mattered
