When you hold their hand in public

Nucky:

He will ask why you are holding his hand. When you shrugged and said you felt like it, he will let out an amused sigh before ignoring it and continuing whatever he was doing. When he needs both his hands, he will ask you to let go, saying he needs both his hands so you will have to let go.

Eli:

He will frown, feeling a bit weird at the feeling of holding hands, hoping nobody stares, but eventually he got used to it and he didn't think much of it. When you let go, he will glance down, wondering why you let go before ignoring it.

Margaret:

She will smile, asking why you are holding her hand. When you said you just felt like it, she chuckled before focusing again on walking to the location she has to be.

Jimmy:

He will just glance down at your hands before ignoring it and continuing whatever he was doing. When he needs to use both his hands, he will shake his hand a little, saying he needs his hand so you have to let go.

Gillian:

She will smile, thinking this is very sweet of you before giving your cheek a kiss, saying this is so romantic. When you chuckled and said you are just holding her hand, she shrugged and said it is still very romantic.

Richard:

He will nervously swallow, mumbling people will stare. When you shrug and say they can stare all they want, he will glance away to hide his blush as he mumbles something under his breath, nervously moving his hand in yours so he can hold your hand comfortably.

Mickey:

He will get a little giggly, feeling like a child who is holding his crush's hand. When you laughed and asked why he's smiling like a dork, he will jokingly ask if there is something wrong with him being happy that he's holding his lover's hand.

Arnold:

He will softly grip your hand back, talking to you. Sometimes he will randomly lift it to plant a kiss against the top of your hand. The only times he lets go is when he sees someone who looks suspicious, but once far away, he will hold your hand again.

Chalky:

He will let go, mumbling he's trying to look intimidating and holding hands does not look intimidating. When you pout, he will look away, telling you not to give him that look because he can never say no to that look.

Nelson:

He will awkwardly look at your hand, asking what you are doing. When you said holding hands with your man, he frowned but ignored it and just let you hold his hands, thinking this is very weird and attracts attention but deciding not to say it out loud.

Al:

He will snicker and then continue whatever he's doing. If someone jokes about it, he is quick to storm to him, asking what their fucking issue is with him holding your hand. After a few seconds of the person nervously stuttering and Al scaring them, he will laugh and slap their back, laughing out he's joking.

Lucky:

He will pull away. He doesn't like being seen holding hands, he thinks it makes people think of him as weak and soft. In private, you can hold his hand all you want, but in public, he rather have you don't do it.

Meyer:

He will just chuckle and move his hand a little so you can both hold hands comfortably. When Lucky makes a joke about it, Meyer will just laugh it off and joke back.

Gyp:

It depends on his mood. If he's happy, he will hold your hand. If he's annoyed, he will either hold it in a painfully tight grip or not at all. If someone snickers at him for holding hands, he will let go of you so he can storm to the person and angrily ask if they have a problem with him holding hands with his beautiful lover.
