Chapter 3 What is love?!

I ate breakfast as quickly as I could, I mean the breakfast was nice although it was simple it was still nice. I mean that as a compliment considering what we had was just a watery porridge. But that's besides the point. The breakfast was painful because of the hateful glares of my two beautiful companions; Aqua and Darkness. But Aqua likes the drama and especially fond of making fun of me so I could stomach that.

But Darkness was a little bit strange. I can't put my finger on it but that look she gave me had a deeper meaning than the superficial hate that Aqua was exhibiting? Did I do something to her that I didn't really know about? Or maybe she's still upset that the male orcs have died out and she can't hypothetically fantasise about being ravaged. Still what goes on in a crazy girls mind is none of my business.

So after having gulped down the entirety of the watery breakfast in one second I ran out of there like my tail was on fire. I heard voices calling after me but I ignored them, to be honest I know it was just friendly banter, them calling me scum or what not, I mean it's sprinkled with little grains of truth but I know deep down they know me well enough that I wouldn't go that far, the most I would do is sexual harassment.

I found myself standing upon a raised mound with a lone tree growing at the centre of it, it was surrounded by healthy green grass and honestly they look soft and inviting. The sun was just easing its way to ascend the sky so the scathing temperature of the sun rays wasn't too bad yet, in fact it was barely even afternoon.

I find myself sitting absentmindedly on the earth leaning the side of my head on the trunk of the tree. The gentle breeze caused the branches to sway slightly making some of the leaves fall gracefully as it swayed to and fro before settling down on the world below.

Honestly I wasn't really thinking about anything, I just let my mind wander and really take in this picturesque scenery. Out in the distant are people who were  working hard on their farms wearing their straw hats and wrapping a white cloth around their neck to wipe their sweat with.

Once in awhile as if carried by the wind was the voices of children playing and their laughter like little jingles of bells echoed in my head causing my face to lit up slightly.

"Ewww!" Said a displeased voice.

"What's with the perverted look on your face, bet your thinking about whatever you did with Megumin!" Accused Darkness.

I rolled my eyes but couldn't the life of me have the energy to look back at the blonde bimbo standing behind me.

"What's it to you anyway! Why? Are you jealous?!" I retorted.

"W-wwha..what..?" She stuttered.

Huh? Is that really the case? Does she also hold some kind of feelings towards me? Nah! That can't be it. Its Darkness after all, she gets flustered and embarrassed about even the littlest things, especially when it comes to talk about love and physical affection between lovers.

"What if I am.." she muttered quickly and quietly that I almost didn't catch what she was saying.

"Huh? What?" I jumped in surprise turning to face her.

She stepped back and looked away, her face however was extremely red right down to her neck.

"STUPID KAZUMA!!" She cried out as she run away, her humongous breast swaying side to side. And that distracted me as I was busy drooling over her 'assets'. I scratched my head in confusion and couldn't help but wonder what the hell was all that about.

I gave out a sighed of exasperation before turning and resuming my earlier activity which was just staring absentmindedly across the vast fields of green that stretched out into the horizon.
