Chapter 35

I took a deep breath and turned around to face him, he had that stupid grin on his face. "I aM nOt A bAd GuY..." I looked straight at him, "Well your not a good guy..so what does that make you?" I stopped and felt sweat roll down the side of my skull, "I...I aM a GoOd GuY...yOu DoN't KnOw AnYtHiNg.." I turned around again and opened a portal, "Oh your leaving? Haha well have fun with your useless friends." I looked at the portal then clenched my fists, "ShUt Up...ThEy ArE nOt UsEleSs.." Nightmare chuckled, "Yeah okay believe whatever you wanna believe." I glanced back at him, he still had a smile. I frowned as I stood there for a moment, "What's with the hold up? I thought you were leaving...or do you have something you wanna say to me?" I clenched my fists harder, holding my tongue so I didn't say something. I stopped and then had an idea, "No I dOn'T wAnNa wAsTe My WoRdS oN tRaSh." Nightmare stood still for a moment in surprise, he let out a small chuckle. "Oh you think your so cool cause you just said that don't you? Your pathetic." I took a deep breath then let it out, walking threw the portal. "Where were you?" I stopped and looked at Sans, who was standing there just looking at me. "I...waS..." My voice was still glitching a little, Sans seemed concerned. "Error what were you doing?" I sighed and looked away, "I talked to NiGhtmaRe.." Sans eyes widened as he looked at me, "You went and talked to Nightmare? Why?" I frowned, "You don't understand how I feel...he.." I glanced at (Y/N), she was sleeping soundly. "I had to ask him a few questions...and say a few things..." Sans was still looking at me, "What did you say to him?" I looked back over at him, "Well..." I thought about our conversation, "he diD tEll me He cares abOut her...But I doUbt tHat's TruE.." Sans seemed surprised, "he also told me he loves her...which..." I thought about the way he said it, "I dOn't tHink hE waS lyiNg..." Sans eyes widened, "Wait...so you think he loves her?" I looked at Sans, then let out a sigh. "UnfoRtuNateLy..." Sans seemed to be thinking, "So...what are we gonna do..?" I thought for a moment as I stared at Sans, "I...I don'T knOw..." Sans was just looking at me, "Well we can't stay up a worry about it now...get some rest buddy...your gonna need it.." I nodded my head, looking over at the couch that still had (Y/N) sleeping there. I made a small smile as I walked over to the couch, sitting down next to her. "Goodnight Error, seeya in the morning.." I looked back at Sans, "Goodnight Sans." I slowly positioned myself so that I was laying down, (Y/N) moved and curled up to my chest. She wrapped her arms around me, I made a smile as I gently hugged her back. I laid down and looked at the ceiling before closing my eyes, I slowly drifted off into sleep thinking about (Y/N).

I opened my eyes to see something, I wasn't sure what it was. I slowly reached out to it, then it breaks slowly as it calls. It calls for help, for someone to save it. I looked around to only see white, this place reminds me of something. 'Is it something I forgot? Or something that I used to know?' I looked around, it's snow. I started to walk, I couldn't tell where I was. Is this original? No it can't be, it's got a different code. I checked the code and was staring at it for a moment, 'Do I know this place?' I kept walking, I made it to Snowdin. It was happy and cheerful like in the original. 'I feel like this place knows me in a way, or at least knew me in a different time maybe..' I made it to what looked like Sans and Papyrus house. I looked up at the normal looking house, but it feels different. "SANS!" I hear a loud voice call out for Sans, I glanced over to look at Papyrus. He looks just like original, but who is he calling out to? I turned around to see nobody, then a pair of arms lifted me off the ground. "SANS WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN AND WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG? I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOREVER!" I stopped as he hugged me, I was just looking at the Papyrus. 'He doesn't honistly think I'm his Sans does he?' I let out a small chuckle, "Sorry buddy but you have got the wrong guy." The Papyrus stopped and was looking at me, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT SILLY YOU ARE MY BROTHER!" I got out of his arms, "Look I don't know what your Sans looks like but if I see them I will tell you your waiting for them." Papyrus was looking at me with a worried face, "SANS ARE YOU FEELING ALRIGHT?" I chuckled again, "I am fine, but I am not your Sans." Papyrus made a frown as he was looking at me, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN? DO YOU NOT REMEMBER ME?" I was laughing at this point, "Look buddy I don't have a Papyrus, so you have got the wrong guy." I turned around to leave, but I couldn't make a portal. "BUT YOU ARE MY SANS! YOUR THE ONLY BROTHER I WILL EVER HAVE! DON'T TELL ME YOU FORGOT?" I was looking at my hands, it's like they were refusing to let me make a portal. I turned around to look at the Papyrus, then I let out a sigh. "Well I don't think you are my Papyrus, I don't have one and I never have had one.." The Papyrus seemed to be worried about me, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE NEVER HAD ONE? I AM RIGHT HERE!" I frowned as he kept talking, "I sAid...I aM nOt yoUr SaNs.." I started to get irritated at the Papyrus, "BUT SANS-" "I AM NOT YOUR SANS!!!" I yelled at him, he stopped and made a sad face. I could see tears in his eyes, "Oh...Okay.." I stopped as I watched the tears fall down, he went up to the house. I felt bad for yelling at him, I walked up to him. "Hey...sorry for yelling...I just..I don't have a brother.." Papyrus grabbed my wrist and pulled me inside, "BUT YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME...I AM YOUR BROTHER..." I sighed as he said that, "I wish I could believe you Paps but I just..." I stopped as I realized, 'Why did I call him....' I never call any of the Papyrus Paps, so why did it slip on this one? I was looking up at him, "WHAT IS IT SANS? YOU ALRIGHT?" I thought for a moment, 'There is no way this guy is my Papyrus...but..' I made a small smile, "Yeah I am alright..just thinking.." I was looking around the house, why do I feel like I have been here before. I went up the stairs and walked to Sans room, I opened to door and walked in. I looked around at the room, 'I..I know this room..' I walked up to the bed, that had a few dirty socks on it. I was just staring at everything in the room, 'Have I been in this Universe before?' I checked the code again, observing the allinment and everything. 'I have never seen this code before..' I was thinking about all the different codes, "SANS TIME FOR DINNER!" I looked at the door, "Okay Paps!" I said without thinking, I stopped as I was confused on what was going on with me. I followed my instinct and walked out of the room, making my way down the stairs. I walked to the couch and plopped down on it, Papyrus walked out of the Kitchen with two plates of spaghetti. "OF COURSE YOUR ON THE COUCH, LAZY AS ALWAYS." I let out a chuckle as he said that, "Well I have been working myself DOWN TO THE BONE!!" I bursted out laughing as Papyrus got upset, "OH JUST BE QUIET AND EAT DINNER." I was giggling as I picked up the fork, not realizing that I wasn't being myself. I picked up a fork and wrapped spaghetti around it, pulling it up to my mouth and eating it. I nodded my head and made a thumbs up as Papyrus had a huge smile on his face, I let out a chuckle. Papyrus finished his food fast, I finished mine and Papyrus took the plates into the kitchen. I looked out the window, there was a figure standing there. They were facing the house, I stopped and was just looking at the figure. They were completely black so I couldn't tell who it was, "HEY SANS I'M GONNA GO TRAIN WITH UNDYNE I WILL BE BACK LATER!" I got up and walked to the door as Papyrus walked out of it, the figure was gone as soon as I got outside. "AHHHHH!" I heard Papyrus scream, I quickly looked twords him. He was looking at me, "S-SANS!" I started to run to him, he had blood running down his arm. "What.." I stopped as I looked at the black bone that was in his arm. "SANS..PLEASE HELP..." Papyrus was looking right at me as he said that, "W..What? But I.." I looked at the bone, it was all glitched out like mine are. I backed up as the bone disappeared, I clenched my head. 'What the hell is going on?' I kept backing up, "SANS..WHY...WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE THAT?" I stopped as I looked up at Papyrus, his arm was healed and he was looking at me confused. "What do you mean..?" Papyrus was looking at my clothes and the glitches, "WHY ARE YOU GLITCHED OUT LIKE THAT? WHAT HAPPENED?" I was confused on what was happening, "I...I don't.." I backed up and looked around at Snowdin, everyone was gone. "WHY ARE YOU HURTING OUR FRIENDS SANS?" I  started to shake as he kept talking, "I..I don't know...what's.." I turned around to look away from Papyrus, then I saw the figure again. I quickly ran twords it, then it disappeared again. I stopped and was looking at where it was, I sighed and looked back at Papyrus. I looked around at the empty area, Papyrus was gone. For some reason I wanted to look for him, "Papyrus?!" I screamed out into the town, no answer. I started to walk around Snowdin, then I tripped and fell onto the ground. I sat up and looked around at Snowdin again, but everything was gone. I stood up and looked at the emptyness, there was nothing but white again. "PAPYRUS!?" I screamed into the nothing, but nobody came. I stopped and was looking around, "P..Papyrus.." I looked at the ground, it was an endless void of white. I laid on the ground as I slowly felt it all again. The voices, the pain, the loneliness, the fear, and the feeling of being trapped with no escape. It was all coming back to me like a bad memory, but why are the voices all back? I thought they had left, I guess not. "Error!" I heard a soothing voice as I turned to look at her, she had a big smile on her face as she made her way to me. "I missed you!" (Y/N) came up and gave me a hug, I smiled and wrapped my arms around her. She let go of me to face me, "Where have you been? You just left me all alone." I made a small chuckle, "Sorry..I was doing stuff.." I don't even know what has been going on, but she is here and that's all that matters. I smiled as I kissed her on the cheek, she hugged me again. I felt happy until she lifted off the ground, "E..Error..?" a red soul was in front of her as blue strings covered her soul. "What the.." I looked down at my hands, which had stings coming out of them. I looked up at her as the strings tightened around her soul, "Wait no.." I tried to get them to stop, but they just got tighter. I closed my eyes as I heard a cracking noise, I can't watch. I slowly opened my eyes not being able to help it as the strings shattered her soul. I stood still looking at her as tears filled my eyes, then started to fall down my face. "No..." I clenched my head as the tears fell down, "I couldn't save her..."
