Chapter 43

Me and Cross appeared in the castle, I looked over at Horror who was looking at me. Dust and Killer were in the living room, "Oh right you should go talk to Dust, he seemed to miss you a lot." Horror seemed a little surprised, "He missed me?" I nodded my head as Horror went in to the living room, "Hey shit heads I'm back!" Dust jumped up off the couch as he looked at Horror, "HORROR!" Dust ran over to him and I thought he was gonna give him a hug, but instead he stopped in front of him and slapped him. "Where the hell have you been asshole?!" Horror chuckled as he shrugged, "Just around." Dust gave Horror a glare, "What the hell were you thinking just quitting like that?" Dust lightly hit the side of Horror's head, "Well..." Horror looked over at me, then back at Dust. "I had to have a break from you idiots." Dust was still glaring at him, "Oh shut up you selfish dummy." Dust smacked the back of Horror's head light enough where It didn't hurt him but it didn't look like it was very pleasant. Horror and Dust let out chuckles, Cross was looking at them. "They show affection weirdly.." I looked over at Cross, "Well I didn't expect anything new from them...They are bad guys.." Cross looked at me as well, he made a smile. "Yeah I guess your right." I chuckled as I looked back at them, Dust looked over at me. "Hey boss since Horror is back can we go do something?" I was thinking, I made a smile and nodded my head. "Of course." Dust made a huge smile as he grabbed horror's wrist, "Horror want to go get some nice cream or something?" Horror seem to think for a moment, then he made a small smile. "Why the hell not." Horror and Dust disappeared, I looked over at Killer. I walked up to him, "Hey Killer." Killer looked over at me with his normal black eyes, "Yeah boss?" I made a smile as Killer seemed off by it, "Go hang out with them or something...They left so you go do something fun.." Killer seemed surprised at me, "Really?" I nodded my head, "Go have fun Killer." Killer jumped up off the couch, "Wow okay boss." I watched as he left, I looked back at Cross who was giving me a smile. "You know you seem to be being nicer than usual." I made a smile as I walked up to him, "Well how can I not be? For once I am actually happy." Cross chuckled and hugged me, "Aww well I'm glad your happy!" I wrapped my arms around him, feeling my cheeks heat up. Cross's cheeks were covered in purple blush, I gently put my hand on his cheek as I felt his cheeks get warmer. I let out a small chuckle as Cross was just looking at me, I suddenly saw some sort of yellow glow. As soon as I saw it I knew what was happening, I felt tons of sweat roll down my skull. I held on to him tighter as I felt the goopy slowly start to drip more, Cross seem to think I was getting upset because that's what happens. "Night You okay?" I let go of his face and wrapped my arms around him, "Posi...tivity.." I was shaking as the goop started to drip off of me slowly and the yellow glow was all around me, I wanted to run away but I couldn't get myself to let go of him. I felt my cheeks start to heat up, Cross's eyes widened as my weaker form was reveled. 'Dammit I didn't want him to see this form..' I looked away as I felt my cheeks heat up a bunch more, "You..." Cross seemed to be lost at words, I looked over at him. "What?" I saw him make the biggest smile ever, "You're so adorable!" I stopped as my face heated up, "No I'm not!" I pushed him lightly, Cross was giggling. I closed my eyes, "Night, I get how you and Dream are brothers now, But you are so much cuter than him!" I opened my eyes to look at him, Cross's face was covered in blush. I made a smile as I felt my whole face heat up as well, "You really think so?" Cross nodded his head quickly, I chuckled and hugged him tighter. "You are the nicest bad guy I have ever met." Cross smile as blush covered his face, "Of course I am nice, I am nice to people I like.." I chuckled again and let go of him, looking right at him. Cross seem to be just looking at me, he seem to be thinking. "Your eyes are so pretty.." Cross made a big smile, I covered my face as it was warming up more. "N-No there not!" Cross giggled and pulled my hands away from my face, making me face him. I looked at him, he was making a calm smile as he pulled me closer. I wrapped my arms around him without thinking, Cross leaned in and kissed me. I slowly did it back as my cheeks warmed up more, Cross hugged me as I felt him put his hands on the sides of my shirt. I felt Cross start to slid his hand up my shirt, I was startled because I didn't expect that. I held onto him tighter, then I heard some sort of noise. "I can't believe I left my jacket on the couc-" Killer looked over at me and Cross, I quickly pushed Cross off and looked at Killer. "What...the...fuck.." Killer was just looking at us blankly, "uh.." I looked at Cross then back at Killer, Killer seemed to be trying to process what was happening. "Cross..." Cross looked at Killer, "Who...Who is this...?" Killer seem to not notice it was me, I exhaled. "Oh uh this is.." Cross looked at me, "Night...Nightmoon..." Cross made up a lie, Killer was just looking at me. I started sweating, I have another voice that I can do in this form but I usually don't. I cleared my throat, "Hello there! Nice to meet you!" I cringed at my own high pitched voice, it was my voice before I ate the apple. Killer was just looking at me, "hi.." He seemed to be thinking, "So Cross your gay? And why have I never seen this guy around before...Is he your boyfriend or something?" I stopped as Killer said that, "Actually yes he is!" Cross came up next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, I felt myself get irritated. "Cross.." I was glaring at him, Cross started to sweat a lot. "What's the matter Nighty?" I stopped as he called me that, I thought I wouldn't get mad but for some reason I did. "Nighty?" Cross chuckled as he nudged towards Killer, "Oh I'm gonna-" I felt the goop come back all over me, Cross frowned. "Aww you looked cute that way.." I covered his mouth as I felt my cheeks heat up, "Shut up Cross." Cross went silent as Killer was shocked, "Nightmare?" He seemed to be thinking, his eyes widened as he looked at us. "You two are..." Killer covered his mouth and bursted out laughing, "Yeah yeah laugh all you want.." I let out a sigh, "Well now that he knows I might as well tell Dust as well.." I felt irritated, "Why did you call my Nighty Cross?" Cross giggled as he hugged me, "Well I don't know it sounded cute." Cross was doing a kawaii smile, I chuckled and felt my cheeks heat up. "Yeah okay.." Killer was still laughing, "You two are gross." Killer slipped his jacket on, "You two love birds have fun.~" I stopped as Killer started walking, "Hey shut up Killer!" I felt my cheeks heat up, Killer just chuckled and then disappeared. I was frowning as I looked at where he was, Cross let out a giggle. I looked over at him, I made a smile. "Well I guess were telling them today anyways.." Cross nodded his head, "Sorry Night I just thought it would be cute to call you that, sorry it upset you.." I kept my smile as I grabbed his hand, "It's fine Cross...You could never really make me mad.." Cross held my hand back and made a smile, "Hey Nightmare do you wanna go get some nice cream?" I chuckled as I felt the positivity again, the goop dripped off and I went back to my weak form. I made a big smile and nodded my head, "That sounds like a lot of fun." Cross snapped his fingers and we appeared in Original, I looked around as I felt an uneasy feeling. Cross was dragging me to the nice cream stand, the nice cream guy was just looking at us like he was scared. "U-Um...Hi..." He smiled nervously, "You want to buy a nice cream...It's the frozen treat that warms your heart.." He said shakily, Cross made a friendly smile. "Two nice creams please!" The nice cream guy seemed to be surprised, he made a big smile. "What will you be having today?" Cross was looking at the flavors, "Ooo how about blueberry!" Cross had so much positivity, the nice cream guy gave Cross a blueberry one and then looked at me. "What do you want sir?" I looked at him, "Oh uh..." I thought about it, 'I usually don't get nice cream..' I was deciding on what I wanted, "How about the same as him.." I made a smile as he nodded his head, pulling a blueberry nice cream up and handing it to me. I started walking as I licked my nice cream, these are better then I thought they were. Cross followed me and we were walking together, I looked over at him and slowly held his hand with my free hand. Cross realized and held it back, we were walking for a while until we made it to snowdin. I looked around at snowdin as Cross pulled me over to the trees, Cross sat down and leaned against a tree. He pulled me in front of him and hugged me tight, as he was already finished with his nice cream. "How do you eat it so fast?" Cross made a big smile, it was almost as his eyes lit up in stars. "How do you not? they are so good." Cross giggled, I turned around so my back was facing him. Cross had his arms wrapped around me from behind, I kept licking my ice cream. "I just like to savor it.." Cross pushed my head down so I was on his lap and he could see my face, he was giving me a smile. I felt my cheeks warm up a lot, Cross giggled and leaned back against the tree closing his eyes. I smiled as well and felt my eyes slowly start to close, I guess I got really comfortable as the world turned back.

-Hours later-

"Nightmare?" I heard a familiar voice, I quickly opened my eyes as I saw Dream, Ink, Sans, Error, and (Y/N). I jumped up as I looked at Dream, "Dream.." Dream was looking at me weirdly, "Your...you.." I made a small chuckle, "Well I..." I stopped as I looked back at Cross, I made a small smile as I felt my cheeks warm up. "Nightmare what happened?" I looked at Dream again, "I..." I felt my face get flushed in blush as I thought about it, Ink was looking at me then looked at Cross. "Nightmare are you and Cross...Dating?" I stopped as I felt my face get warmer, "Well, No. But we.." I looked at Cross, then let out a sigh. "I..." I felt my cheeks warm up more, "I..I love him.." I said quietly as Dream seemed surprised, "Really? Cross?" I slowly nodded my head, "Mm.." Cross started to move, he opened his eyes and only saw me. Cross jumped up on his feet and hugged me from behind, I stopped as I felt my whole face heat up a ton. Cross looked at Dream, Ink, Error, and (Y/N). His eyes widened as he quickly let go of me, I grabbed his arms before he let go so he wouldn't move. "They already know.." Cross stopped and looked at me, then he looked up at everyone. "So are you two are dating?" Ink asked seeming curious, I let out a sigh as I nodded my head. "Yes.." I looked away as I felt my cheeks heat up a ton, Cross looked at me surprised. "Wait we are officially dating??" Cross made a huge smile, "Well of course dummy I wouldn't just do this without dating you.." Cross giggled ad hugged me tight, I turned around so I was facing him then wrapped my arms around him. "Awww.." Ink was looking at us, "Oh shut up Ink." I turned my head and glanced at him, Ink chuckled as I did this. I let go of Cross, looking over at (Y/N). I felt chills down my spine as I saw in my head what happened, I looked away as I felt the goop slowly cover my body. I could feel the sweat rolling down my skull, Cross realized and hugged me. "You okay Night?" Cross was worried about me, I couldn't stop feeling the negativity. "I..." I glanced back at (Y/N), Cross noticed that was the human I was talking about. Cross let go of me and walked over to her, "Hey there! I don't think we have properly met, I am Cross." Cross made a smile towards her, "Hello Cross! I am (Y/N)." I was still looking away from them, Cross looked at me. "I think Nightmare has been wanting to say something to you.." I stopped as I looked at Cross, he was giving me a smile. I was sweating more, (Y/N) looked over at me. "Uh..." I backed up and closed my eyes, 'Dammit..' I could see her against to wall, I quickly opened my eyes and was breathing heavily. Cross held my hand, I stopped and looked at him. "Calm down Night..." He kissed me on the cheek, I felt the positivity again as I turned back to my normal form. "Dammit Cross.." I felt my cheeks heat up a bunch, Cross nudged me towards (Y/N). I looked at her and slowly walked in front of her, "Uh.." I looked at the ground, "(Y/N).." I could feel her gaze on me, I was shaking slightly. "I..." I glanced up at her, "I'm sorry.." I hugged her as I felt tears, "I don't know why I would do something so stupid." Everyone except Cross seemed surprised, "Nightmare...Do you really mean that?" I was holding onto her tightly as I shoved my face into her shoulder, to hide the tears in my eyes. She tried to push me away to see me face, I wouldn't let her. "No just...Yes I mean it.." She was confused on why I wasn't letting her see my face, I let go and turned quickly. I guess not fast enough because she saw the tears, "Nightmare are you crying?" I ran to Cross and shoved my face in his chest, Cross wrapped his arms around me. "Dammit...Why am I being so...emotional.." I held onto him tighter, Cross was frowning. "Don't worry about it Night...Just calm down.." I was shaking as I hugged him, 'God dammit Nightmare pull yourself together..' I took a deep breath as Cross lifted my head so I was looking at him, "Oh Night.." Cross wiped the tears away from my face, I made a small smile as Cross gently put his hand on my cheek. I slowly leaned closer to him not being able to help it, Cross smile as he leaned closer too. I felt a moment of silence as I press my teeth against his pulling him into a kiss, Cross wrapped his arms around me and leaned into it. I hugged him back as I forgot about everyone else, everything went quiet.
