Chapter 4
It’s passed twelve. We just finished eating lunch. Nagkatinginan ang dalawa bago bumaling sa akin. Tumayo si Felina at tumango. I take that as her answered.
“Punta lang kami sa kabilang bayan Terros.” Paalam ni Felina sa kapatid.
I get the sword Terros handed me. Though, they didn’t look like a monster or somewhat. They looked like a human too.
Most of them are laughing, and some kids were playing with the same age. Masaya sila at hindi makitaan ng problema.
“Do not touch anyone. They might know what you are.” Felina’s serious voice makes me shiver.
I have this suspicion in Felina’s action. I have the necklace, and they assured me that no one can recognize me as a human if I am wearing this.
I nodded to her. It made me feel ease.
Diretso ang tingin niya sa daanan, while my eyes is wandering around. I know I looked ignorant this time, but who cares? This is just so impossible to exist. A tenth century to whatever place is this. I’ll take this chance to have a glimpse on this century, I’ll be back to my own world tomorrow, if I can kahit alam kong malabong mangyari.
Are they, perhaps living in a cave?” baling ko sa kasama.
“They're living above this world… Halika, tignan mo ‘yon.” She pointed the near village from here.
“May pamilihan roon. Doon kami madalas ni Terros pumunta.”
I looked at her then to the village. From here I can see the people around walking while holding a thing. There is also a carriage in there.
Maybe because it is their world. Based on what Felina and Terros said, they seems like into battles with different creatures. Swords, knife, bow and arrow, and some things I can’t name.
And what caught my attention is their emotionless eyes. They look like a doll talking but didn’t know what they are saying.
