Chapter 5
The story behind Sophia

"Let me introduce myself and stop calling me Felina. I am Sophia, the goddess of love and beauty."

I was stunned for the fourth time. Nanlamig ang kamay ko at naramdaman ang pamumutla ng mukha.

"You have sinned. Your blood is not pure as before. Based on your actions, you already tasted a human. And your target now is me." I fight the nervous that filled me. Kung nakatayo lang siguro ako, malamang ay lugmak na naman ako sa damuhan.

"No. I won't eat you of course. Terros will do that action. All I want from you is your pure heart... I can feel  the fast beating of it."

"Y-you can't do that." I stuttered.

I look so helpless. This world is beyond on what I know. Mas malala ito sa mundo namin. Kung doon ay mga tao lang kalaban, dito ay mga halimaw.

"You called yourself a goddess after you tasted a human? That's ridiculous. I regret wearing this kind of clothes after knowing that this is yours!"

A sudden slap hit me. She put the knife towards in my face. Nanlaki ang matang nakatingin ito sa akin. Tinapatan ko iyon kahit na nanginging sa takot. Ilang beses pa akong napalunok dahil baka bigla nakang ako nitong saksakin.

But if I die right now, it would be easy for me to forget my life and I can be with my family.

"Yes! You are not suitable for my dress. Now I'll take it back!"

"No no! Felina no!" She tear the pieces of clothes. If she succeed, then I will be naked!

"N-no please..."

"Huh! Now you are begging me to stop! Or you want Terros to take it out?" May pang uuyam sa tono nito.

"Sophia..." From her back, Terros appeared with no expression. Diretso itong nakatingin sa akin na tila nahihipnotismo.

Felina stop from tearing her dress. She stood up and face her brother.

"Terros. You're so late. How many times do I told to come first. You're really a disgrace!" Nagulat ako ng parang hanging nakarating si Felina kay Terros para sakalin ito.

Terros remain emotionless. He was just staring at me, as if he can't feel the grip in his neck. I left dumbfounded. I don't know what to do anymore. They are both killer!

Hindi ko parin maigalaw ang katawan. Kahit ang mga daliri. Wala akong takas. Katapusan ko na talaga.

Binitawan ni Sophia si Terros. They are both looking at me like a prey ready to eat.

"We are not siblings... We are not wizards. I am from heaven."

Her eyes softened as she said thise words. Para bang may katiting itong pagsisi sa nagawa nitong mali.

"Pero ibinaba ako rito para sa isang tungkulin. Tungkulin na ninais ko noong una dahil sa mahal ko. Terros, that's his name. But he didn't love me at all. He told me to taste his blood in exchange of love. And I did." Mas humigpit ang hawak niya sa patalim.

"All I know is that I love him. I forgot about the rules. But in return, he cheated. He lied and didn't care at all. He wants me to be sinned." Ngayon ay kay Terros naman ito tumingin. Anger and hatred was all in her eyes. Ang dating pag ibig na nararamdaman niya para rito ay napalitan ng matinding pagkamuhi.

"He wants me sinned! He didn't love me! I am the goddess of love and beauty and yet... I can't tame him!" Lumuhod muli siya. Niyugyog niya ang balikat ko at doon binuhos ang galit.
