3rd person pov:

The golden trio were on their way for their last year at hogwarts. Harry and ginny were happy in their relationship, bit thatbwasnt the case with ron and hermione

Hermione felt trapped like she had no choice in the matter. Ever since the war ron was grieving through violence and that violence was targeted at hermione.

Hermione attempted to stay quiet since ron threatened her if she told anyone so logically she stayed quiet until one faithful day.

Hermione was our reading pride and prejudice under a tree near the burrow while everyone was playing quidditch. When the others finished ron pulled her up saying "come on babe let's go upstairs"

Hermione stayed silent until Harry's voice rang through their ears "mate can I talke to mione for a second?" "Sure mate ill see you mione" "bye ron"

Hermione's pov:

My mind was racked on what harry could want to talk to me about. I was afraid he found out about me and ron

"Mione will you come on a walk with me?" I merely nodded knowing my voice would break if I said anything.

We walked tobthe edge of the nearby lake. Harry sat down and patted the spot next to him. "Come on mione sit down" wordlessly I sat down. Harry wrapped his arm around me which made me jump since it reminded me of what ron would do in public

He seemed to notice saying "mione somethings going on with ron im worried about you. You have to tell me" "harry I can't he threatened me if I told anyone" "mione this is toxic hes killing you I can't see how it can get any worse"

I knew he was right but I couldn't even formulate the words correct for a logical response. So my emotional side came out and I just cried on his shoulder. "Harry I don't know what to do everyone thinks were so happy and I can't burden them to think otherwise I know you know how it is but people like ginny and molly don't im scared they'll hate me if I say anything their thenonly family I have in the wizarding world besides you of course" he held my shoulders looked me in the eyes and said "mione of they can't understand that this is killing you they can't be like family besides that what does he do when were not there?" When he said that I felt water swelling in my eyes "h-he t-tried to rape m-me a f-few t-times h-he hit me and hotnon me for always reading and not being with him all the t-time" "you know what ginny will understand pack your things im taking you to grimmauld place i don't think I can trust ron around you anymore your not gonna me alone with him anymore no matter what anyone says" "t-thank you h-harry" "of course now come on"

We walked back inside harry never left my side harry explained the situation to Molly and ginny and to my surprise they understood and making sure i was okay which I was thankful for. We made pur way up to mine and Ron's room I was extremely scared. Harry squeezed my hand for reassurance which made me give a sad smile.

I made sure to be behind harry slightly so there's less chance of getting hurt. Harry opened the door it seems ron didn't notice me because he said "hey mate whats going on?" "Maybe you should tell me?" The pause gave me time to step into view.

When ron saw me he had a murderous look on his "what did you tell him?!?!?!" Harry stepped in front of me "she didn't say anything were just here to get her stuff and leave" "fine with me she's useless anyway I have a better girl anyway" I finally got the courage to talk "so you've been cheating on me too?!?!?!" "Come on mione get your things and we'll go" I levitated all my stuff into my trunk which had an undetectable extension charm on it. We did the same for harry before apparating outside Grimmauld place.

"Mione its probably insensitive to say this but you have to show me what he did to you" for a second I weighed out the options but thought that this was a losing battle on my end "fine bit promise you won't kill him" "I may have to break that-" "harry promise me" he sighed before saying "fine I promise only cause its you asking" I sat down on the couch pulling my shirt up harry kneeled next to me examining the cuts. "I swear to merlin that git is as good as dead" "harry please you promised im okay now" before he could say anything there was a soft knock on the door.

Harry checked the door coming back with ginny and luna. Ginny said "we wanted to check for your okay" I gave a small smile saying "im better he didn't have the time to hurt me with harry there"

"Okay we just wanted to make sure your okay mum already is yelling at ronald as we speak" "thank you guys inreally appreciate it I don't know what id do without you guys" "no problem mione we'll see you guys soon"

"Okay now mione what do you wanna do?" At that moment 2 owls came swooping into the parlor with letters tied to their ankles. I gasped saying "diagon alley!!" Harry chuckled at my antics before adding "more like flourish and blotts" "oh how right you are harry"
