chapter 2 || there are more important things-friendship,bravery..love

Hermione's pov:
I've been staying at grimmauld place with Harry for the past week and I'm glad since it's so much better than at the burrow.
Today Harry and I are going to st mungos for a check up since we haven't gone since before the war.

"Ready mione" "yeah let's go"

we then apparated out the wards of st mungos we step inside and check in at the front desk

"Hermione granger" I step out with the healer "this should only take a few minutes ms.granger"

My assigned mediwitch comes in after my test results are complete "well it seems we have a catch ms. Granger" "what do you mean? what happened?" "It seems lived you've been feed a love potion keyed to a Ronald Weasley did you have any revelations out this?" "No I didn't" "well I'm sorry ms granger but by protocol we have to do a cleansing remove traces of the potion this is amortentia so it is extremely powerful and by the records it seems like a heavy dose- let's say 3 years worth"

"Oh my is there any chance you can tell me if the same happened to Harry we're best friends"

"I'm afraid I can't it's confidential but he may tell you. For now I'll have a healer escort you to the cleansing department"

We made our way to the cleansing department where the amortentia was removed we made our way back to my original room where my injuries were assessed. It seems I had slightly more extensive injuries than I thought.

I had quite a few broken ribs, a twisted ankle and scars everywhere even though a third of them were from the battle. The healing process was fairly quick. When I stepped in the waiting hall Harry was there waiting. He gave me a bone crushing hug that could rival my own which I thought was weird since I always initiate the hugs.

"Are you okay mione?" Gosh I never realized how much I love when he says my nickname it made me blush he seemed to notice since he gave me his adorable classic potter smirk... wait did I say adorable that only made me blush more.
