The Beginning ♥ 1 ♥

It was a beautiful morning in the mountains. You went outside like you always do to feed the horses, but once you reach the paddock you see that... the horses are gone! You freak out and run inside just to see that your mother is being held at a gun point by a men with a masks. You froze... one of the men walks over to u. You didnt know what to do and ran out of the house. You ran and all you heard was gunshots. You knew your mother is dead and they were trying to shot you too. Suddenly you feel pain in your leg, you look down and see that they shot you. You hid behind the rock in the snow. You were safe for now. You stayed there until the night. You limped your way through the snow to the woods and stayed there till the morning. It was really windy and cold... then you heard voices of two men. One of them said. " Look, its a blood trail and foot prints. It could be Marston."Other replied." Lets follow it and we'll see."

You were scared to death bcs you knew this trail led these men to you. Then you saw two men one of them looked mexican. They saw you and ran up to you. you didn't know what to do and started crying and saying. " P-p-please don't kill me... i didn't do anything..."Mexican replied. "Shhh, it's okay, we are not going to hurt you. Are you okay?" You said. "N-no... A group of men with masks killed my m-mother and set our horses free... They tried to kill me too but i got away just with an injured leg..." Mexican said "It must of been the O'Driscoll's boys. Don't worry... you're going to be safe with us, come i'll help you get on my horse." He helped you to get up and you guys trotted away.

"Im Javier and this is Arthur" Mexican spoke. "Im Y/N..." You replied. After few minutes you hear Arthur Shout "Look! There's a dead horse." Javier replies with "John was riding that horse when we left Blackwater...Let's see if he can hear us." Than Javier pulls his gun out, points to the sky and shoots a few shots. After few seconds you hear another voice shouting. "Hey! Help! Here!"

"Come on. Up there!" You trotted up the hill and saw that there is no way you'll be able to go there with horses. Javier said "I don't think we can go much further on the horses. We'll have to walk from here." He dismounted his horse and turned to you "You stay here. We'll be back soon...Arthur, grab your shotgun just in case" Both Arthur and Javier walk down the cliff and after 10 minutes you see Arthur carrying a man who's face was bloody. As they get closer you see 4 wolves and shout "Look up there!" Then point your finger at the wolves. Javier picks up the man and runs towards the horses. Arthur distracts the wolves and shoots them then runs to his horse who had the man on his back. You run and see more wolves coming. You grab Javiers gun and shoot the wolves. Javier looks at you and smiles. You put the guns back and say. "sorry" them smile awkwardly. Then he says "It's okay. I see you know how to shoot." "Yeah, i used to go hunting with my dad when he was alive." You said and smiled at him.

You guys arrive to the camp they were staying at. Javier and another black man helped you get off the horse and took you the cabin to get warm. In the morning you woke up at 6am because it was the usual you wake up to feed the horses. You walk outside and through the snow you see a Javier sitting near the fire. You walk over and sit down. Javier asks you "Why are you up so early?" "I'm used too since i always feed the horses." Then a redskin with long hair comes over and says. "Hey Javier. Do you want to come hunting with me?" Javier replies with "You should take her hunting." And then point at you. Then you say. "But i dont have a horse nor any weapons." "You can take uncles horse and i will give you a bow." You nodded then you and the redskin go where horses were hitched. He points and a horse and says. "You can ride this one and here's your bow. You know how to use it right?" "Yeah i do and thanks." You smile and go to the horse that you'll ride. "I'm Charles by the way." He says. "I'm Y/N." You reply, and you guys gallop away.

After some time you guys come back with two deer. You help camps cook (Pearson) skin the deer and after that you see Arthur coming back with someone tied up on his horse's back. "Found the lil shit, did ya?" Says the camp leader (Dutch). "Yup, i got him" Arthur says while putting the guy on the ground. "very good, welcome to your new home, hope your real' happy here." Dutch said sarcastically. "You want me to make him talk?" Arthur asked, then Dutch said. " oh no, now all we'll get is lies. Uncle, Mr. Williamson tie this maggot up some place safe, we get him hungry first. I got a saying my friend, you shoot fellas who's need shooting, safe fellas who's need saving, and feed whos need feeding. We are gonna find out what you need... I can't believe
it an O'Driscoll in my camp!" Then the guy shouted in a scared voice. "I ain't an O'Driscoll mister! I-i hate that fellar!" Duth then says. "Oh whatever you say son!" Then leaves to his cabin.

After a couple of weeks the gang packs their stuff, loads the wagons and gets on a road somewhere away from these mountains. You sat in a wagon with Arthur, Charles and Hosea. You leave the cold mountains and while passing the river a wheel broke off of the wagon you rode in. You help Arthur but the wheel back on while Charles and Hosea lift the wagon up a bit. You help Charles but the boxes back in the wagon and get on the road. On the way to the new camp you talked about your pasts and not long after you see Javier run out of the woods waving his arms to come here. He jumps in the back and you arrive to the new camp site.
