You jump out of the wagon. New camp was on a beautiful hillside with trees around it. You could see everything from up there. You grab your things and walk over to a tent where you and Sadie will sleep. Sadie lost her husband few days before you lost your mother because of O'Driscolls too, so you had something in common. You set your things down, lay a sleeping bag and put your crate next to it. Everyone gets settled in. Susan walks over to you and says. "Get to work now, go help Pearson." You nod and walk over to Pearson and help him make a stew.

You grab a bowl and pour some stew. You walk over to a table where Arthur, Lenny and Karen were sitting. You sit down and start eating. Arthur then asks. "Do you like being with us?" You reply. "So far i like it here. Everyone seem to be really nice exept Micah... He always look at me like im his worst enemy." "Yeah... He doesn't like anyone." Arthur replies and continiues to eat his stew. "But we dont really like him either." He added.

Next morning you wake up, put on your clothes and get to work. Through the corner of your eye you can see that Javier was looking at you with a smile on his face. Then you turn to him and he looks away. You giggle and get back to work. You felt something... you couldn't figure out what. *Could it be love? There is no way...* You said in your head. It was getting dark, moonlight was shining through the leaves and you were still thinking about Javier. That feeling.... You knew you shouldn't fall in love with anyone right now especially with an outlaw. You try to forget that feeling, but it wouldn't go away. You try to go to sleep but you couldn't fall asleep. You sat under the tree admiring the view. You kept thinking about him.*Does he like me? No way... I'm too ugly for him and i would be a horrible girlfriend..* Then your eyes start to water, and you start to cry, then you feel and arm on your shoulder. You turn around and see Mary-Beth, she sits next to you and says. "Love... Isn't it?" You look at her not knowing what to say, you stay quiet for a bit and say. "W-what? No." She looks at you with a smile on her face, sitting next to you and hugging you. "I know when someone is in love... I saw how Javier was looking at you and how your cheeks bacame red when you noticed him. Javier is a good man." Your cheeks became red and a smile on your face appeared. Then Mary-Beth says. "See? You're blushing. You do like him." Then smiles. "I don't know... I have this strange feeling, but i'm not ready to be in a a relationship..." You say and look at the ground with a sad look on your face. "It's okay, take your time. I'm gonna go to sleep now, good night." She comforts you and gets up. "Good night." You reply and sigh.

It felt like days, but the morning came eventually. You walk over to Pearson and Sadie and help them make some stew. "You look tired Y/N..." You heard a voice behind you. You knew who it was. You turn around and see Arthur. "Uuhh.. Yeah.. I couldn't sleep." You smile and say then look back at the food. "What's wrong?" Arthur says with a worried tone. "Everything is fine." You say but in reality you wanted to scream and cry. "I know something is wrong... I heard you crying last night." He says. Your heart starts beating really fast and you didnt know what to say." O-oh i'ts nothing..." You said and looked at him forcing a smile on your face. "You can always talk to me. Wanna come with Charles and Javier to Valentine? Maybe you could get your mind off of things." He smiled. " I would love too." You smiled back knowing that Javier will come too. "Meet me at the horses in 5 minutes." He says and walks away.

You walk over to the horses and see that Arthur, Charles and Javier are already there. You jump in the wagons back with Javier and Charles with Arthur sit in the front then you head to the town. When you arrive Arthur says. "Lets split up. Y/N you can go to the stables, Javier go to general store, i'll go to the gun store and Charles you can go to the butcher to sell all these pelts we have. After you guys are finished let's meet up at the wagon" You guys split up and got get stuff for the camp. You were the first one to finish, so you wait at the wagon for others. You see a man coming up to you. He puts his knife to your throat and says. "Give me all your money or i'll kill you." You panic, not knowing what to do then suddenly Javier comes out of nowhere and puts his gun to the mans head and grabs him by the throat and says. "Leave her alone or i'll blow your brains out." The man with fear in his eyes says stuttering. "O-okay... P-please let me g-go." "If i see you near her again there won't be a warning." Javier says and pushes the man away. The man runs away and disappears. You walk over to Javier and hug him butying your face in his chest almost crying. He hugs you back. "It's okay Y/N.. You're safe with me." "I don't know what would've happened if you didn't show up here when you did." You say looking at him. He wipes your tears and hugs you again. "Everything is okay now. Try to calm down." He says with a soft voice. You quickly calm down in his arms knowing that you're safe now. You pull away from the hug and your heart aches a little. Then Arthur and Charles come back. They see that you've been cry and look at Javier with worried faces. "Is everything okay?" Charles asks. "Some asshole tried to rob her." Javier replies. "We should go back to camp, make sure she's okay." Arthur says walking over to the front of the wagon and jumping in.

You get back and Javier helps you get to your tent. He sat with you for a while until you fell asleep. You knew you were safe with him next to you...
