Jonathan and Evan stomped through the entry of their front door, Evan slamming it behind him. Jonathan huffed and angrily ran a hand through his hair. Evan crossed his arms across his chest and glared at Jonathan. Jonathan glared back and opened his mouth to say something but was beat to it by Evan.

"What?! What else can you complain about, huh?" Evan took a deep breath in to calm down. Jonathan was taken aback by Evan’s sudden outburst, but he was growing tired of him having to do all the housework while Evan slacked off and lazed around.

"Well Evan I’m tired of being treated as if I was a girl! Degraded and forced to do all the housework!"

"Oh, please," Evan scoffed, "you don’t do all the work."

"Evan yes I do, and I’m tired of it!"

Evan then thought back to when Jonathan moved in a few months ago. He remembered hoe he slowly stopped doing housework and leaving it to Jonathan, he hadn’t noticed until finally Jonathan confronted him about it. Evan gasped and immediately tried to apologize, “Oh my god, I’m so sorry Delirious, I just realized.”

“No Evan! Shut the fuck up, I’m done and tired with this shit.” Jonathan stormed off to their shared bedroom, slamming and locking the door. Evan stayed back, hurt and surprised with Jonathan’s words. Evan wanted to leave Jonathan alone for a while, he thought the other deserved some time to be alone. Evan used this time to reflect about the situation and how he had been treating Jonathan. He was really being an ass to Jonathan.

Evan checked the time and saw he spent almost forty minutes thinking. Evan walked to the bedroom and tried to open the door, only to find that it was locked. Evan shamefully knocked on the door and waited for Jonathan to unlock and open it.

Evan heard shuffling on the other side of the door. Then he heard the door unlock, Evan opened it and was met with a heart wrenching sight. There he saw Jonathan holding a few sheets with a pillow and a tear-stained face. Evan frowned but when he tried to walk into their room, Jonathan shoved the sheets and pillow into Evan’s hands and slammed the door in Evan’s face.

Evan’s heart squeezed painfully at the realization that he was going to sleep on the couch tonight. Evan sniffed, about to cry. He forced himself not to because this was all his fault. Evan walked to the living room and started making his bed… or couch. Evan laid down on the couch and fell into some restless sleep.

Jonathan on the other hand, could not sleep. He was feeling guilty all over. Jonathan knew that he shouldn’t feel guilty about this since it was all Evan’s fault, but he just couldn’t help feel guilty about how he treated Evan. Jonathan even heard Evan sniffle before walking away.

Eventually, Jonathan couldn’t handle the guilt and went to get Evan so they could at least sleep on the same bed. Jonathan opened the door slowly, to avoid making loud noises at this time. He tiptoed to the living room, where he saw a sleeping Evan. Jonathan decided that waking Evan was a stupid decision so he laid beside Evan on the couch. It was quite uncomfortable but Jonathan would just have to deal with it. Jonathan eventually drifted off to sleep, being comforted by the sound of Evan’s breathing and body warmth.

The next morning when Evan woke up, he tried to change his sleeping position because it was uncomfortable. He found it difficult to do so because he was not the only one in the couch. Confused, Evan looks and finds Jonathan on the couch too. Evan smiles a bit and softly runs a hand down the side of Jonathan’s face. Evan truly felt like an ass for treating Jonathan so badly, he really regrets it. Jonathan had been the best thing that’s ever happened to Evan and he almost fucked it up. Evan kissed Jonathan’s forehead and snuggled up against the other and drifted off to sleep again, thinking how lucky he was.
