2~The First Meet

Your POV

Lunchtime, Cafeteria.

"Finally, lunch is here!!" I said, as I dashed to my locker to put my books from earlier in, and my books I needed for later out into my backpack. I also took out my sketchbook as well so I could work on my full-body drawing. I walked in and saw the pristine lunchroom that I would be eating in for the rest of the year. I got in line and saw my new friend, (friend's name), up ahead of me. She noticed me right back and waved for me to join her. I nodded and walked forward and hugged her. "Let's get our lunch and go sit down outside, it's beautiful out." she said, as we grabbed our lunches and walked outside. She was right. The sun was out and the sky looked as beautiful as she said it was. They found a nice bench outside and sat there, beginning to eat. After a couple of minutes, (your friend) asks you an artistic question. "So, (your name), what is your favorite type of art?" I let that question linger in my head for a moment or so before answering. "Well, I mainly freestyle draw but I also do a lot of line work." She looked at me and nodded. "I do the same, but it's more advanced. I've done art since I was born honestly." We took a good laugh out of that and continued to ate. Suddenly, I see Tendou and some of his friends passing by. He notices me, smiles, and waves at me. I smile and wave back. 𝘞𝘰𝘸, 𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦. 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯... I let this thought simmer into my head as he walked by and my friend notices my smile, but she doesn't say anything.

Tendou's POV

We walked and passed by (your name) and waved to you, smiling as we chatted. Ushijima, Semi, and Goshiki were all on our way to sit down and chat when Semi brought up the most obvious question. "So....you trying to crush on the new girl or what?" The other 2 chuckle and smirk. I rolled my eyes at them and said "Guys, it's nothing. I'm just introducing myself to her and hopefully becoming friends with her. Nothing more." I said firmly. They looked at me and laughed. "Oh come ON Tendou, you know you got something for her!" Goshiki said, still laughing, with Ushijima and Semi in agreement. I stopped dead in my tracks and thought about it. 𝘕𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘩 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳....𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. 𝘚𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯'𝘵.... Semi noticed and said, "Hello? Earth to Tendou, what's wrong?" I looked up and looked pissed. "I do NOT have a crush on her, that is FINAL. Now, if you excuse me, I am going to go back inside." I went back in the opposite direction, my face in a red fury. But was it fury? Was it feelings? I tried to get rid of those thoughts as I stormed past (your name) and her friend. She looked up and saw me, with her face looking worried. I walked into the school without a further word.

Your POV

I looked up and see a pissed off Tendou walking past me. I looked in the other directions and his friends looked back at him. 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘮....𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘴𝘬... As this lingered in my head, I looked back at Tendou and my smile faded. "Are you okay?" (friend's name) asked, seeing the look on your face. I put that smile I had back on earlier and said, "Yeah, just worried about him." I said knocking my head back to notion Tendou. After some more time, the bell rang and it was time to go back inside for class. "I hope he's okay.." I said out of anyone's earshot.

Finally, it was time for me to go watch Tendou practice volleyball. I walk to the volleyball court, waving goodbye to (friend's name), who had to go home to do homework and practice art. I walked down to the court and my eyes widened with awe. The court was huge and it was packed with players. "Holy shit..." I said. I made my way to one of the bleachers and I could pick out a red head among all, Tendou. He made eye contact with me for a quick second and didn't smile. I looked at him and my mood dropped a bit. I sat and watched them begin practice. One of his friends, which I could make out and say it was Semi, began to serve the ball and the other players ran to try to save and receive the ball. When one of them attempted to spike it, Tendou ran over and completely blocked it. "Wow...he's good." I whispered under my breath. Semi noticed me in the bleachers and smirked. He said "Hey, Tendou! Try this one out for your crush over there!" He pointed at me and I blushed. Tendou rolled his eyes as Semi served. One received it and the other tried to spike it in the opposite direction as Tendou, but somehow, he still got over there and blocked it. "Holy shit....how did he...?" I said as I kept watching. An hour and a half later, practice was over. I jumped up and walked down to meet Tendou. "Hey, that was some hella good blocking." I said, smiling. Tendou smiled weakly and said "Thanks. Hey I have to ask you something, but let me walk you home first." I looked up and nodded and allowed him to lead me home.

Tendou's POV

I lead (your name) back to her house, but not before taking her to get a mocha, her favorite drink. I paid for her and she smiled and hugged me. My cheeks slowly turned red, but not by much. The moon was starting to come out and we were nearly there. "So, what was that angry look for earlier?" (your name) asked, looking concerned. My aura gloomed a bit, but I answered. "Oh, it was nothing, just the guys playing around." My cheeks were getting brighter by the minute. "Oh yeah, I have to ask you something." 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.... We stopped at her house as I braced for what I was about to say.

"(your name), would you like to go on a date with me?"
