4~The School Party

Tendou's POV

𝘈 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳...

Announcements were made that the school was going to hold a party sometime this weekend, more details were gonna be released as soon as they were finalized. Semi and I were chilling in class and talking about work as soon as this news broke out. "Oh wow, a school party!" Semi said, looking excited. I got excited too. The entire team was going to be there and so were just about all the students. "This party's gonna be fun! We get to see everyone and just chill out, relax from whatever the hell is going on with school and stuff." I said, laying back. I looked outside of the window and noticed that (your name) was walking past, assuming going to her next class. I slumped down and sighed. Semi turned and looked at me. "So...I heard you asked her on a date and it was fun, wasn't it?" He asked. I looked at him and sighed again. "Well, yeah it was fun and all, but something else happened..." I trailed off. He looked and said, "Well? What happened that's making you so gloomy right now?" My mind was racing with thoughts. "She tried to kiss me last night, Semi." As I said this, Semi looked at me and his eyes was wide. "Woah, and what did you do about that?" he asked. I looked at him. "Well, I blocked her from kissing me. Only because I don't have feelings for her like that. Our friendship is mutual and I don't want it to be ruined because of something more." Semi nodded at me. The bell rang and we went to our next class. Suddenly, (your name) walks past us, and she's looking upset. Her friend wasn't seen to be, which I was relieved. She looked like she could've beat me up if I ever hurt her. Semi and I looked at each other and shrugged it off. We walked to our next class.

Your POV

News about the school party broke during class, and then we walked outside to discuss what we were going to do. "You excited? The whole team and school is gonna be there, it's gonna be a blast!" (Your friend) said, squealing with joy. I looked up from my feet. "Oh, yeah. Can't wait for it." Last night, I honestly didn't expect that to happen. But, it's true. Somehow, my feelings for Tendou blossomed and it's making me realize how much I needed him. But she doesn't know...nor does he. Or anyone else. (Your friend) turned around and stopped you. "Hello? Are you there? What the hell is wrong with you? You seem really disturbed." she asked, and had her arms crossed. 𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘯 𝘪𝘵...𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘳. I took a deep breath and began to speak. "Last night, we stood on the balcony of this place he took me to, it was beautiful and magical. I kind of took his hand in mine and he didn't do anything. But, I tried to kiss him." As I spoke, she looked at me and she was shocked. At least, from what I could tell. "Woah...what happened with that?" she asked. "Let me continue." I said. "He blocked me from kissing him. He explained that our friendship was great the way it was and he didn't want it to be ruined if it became something more." I said. (Your friend) looked at me and she looked disturbed, upset. I couldn't tell. "Well, what happened after that?" she asked. "Well, he took me back home on his motorcycle and he dropped me off at my door. He gave me a cheesecake and then waved goodbye and drove off. I ran up to my room and processed it. But..I think it's true." I said. She looked confused. "What's true? You don't....you actually...." Her eyes got wide, but I nodded my head. "Yes, I think I actually do have a crush on him." I said. She screamed so loud that I had to cover her mouth. "Damn, chill. Don't lose your voice over this." I said, looking a tiny bit annoyed. She nodded and we kept walking. After sometime, she asked me a question. "So, are you gonna go to the party?" I looked up and my eyes got wide. 𝘐𝘧 𝘐 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘛𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘳𝘥...𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰....𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘪 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭. I turned around to face her and took another deep breath. "Sure, what the hell. Couldn't cause no harm." I said, and she jumped up and down like somebody gave her too much candy. We both smiled and laughed our way through more jokes and more fun. At last, the bell rang and we bolted for class. On the way there, I could spot Tendou and Semi in the halls. My mood kind of dropped, and he noticed it. He always notices it. Shit. We walked as fast as we could, and I could feel him looking back and noticing it more.

Finally, the date of the party was announced. Everyone cheered and screamed. I felt like 25% were about to lose their voices so fast. Everyone went to go buy stuff they wanted. It was going to be held within the beach. Everyone screamed at that part too. Me and (your friend) went to go shopping for bathing suits and other stuff we needed. As soon as school ended tomorrow, the party would officially begin. Oh boy, can't wait to see how this goes.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘓𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩

We got our lunches and went to go eat beside our lockers, we planned to eat and show off our drawings at the same time. Suddenly, a flash of red passed my eyes and I saw Tendou standing right in front of me. "Hey....you got a minute?" he asked me. I looked at (friend's name) and she nodded, signaling that she would be fine. "Sure, I guess." I jumped up and followed Tendou outside. "I just wanted to apologize about how I left things the other night. You looked upset and if there is anything you wanted to tell me, you can tell me now." I looked at him and slightly smiled. "Well, nothing much, and apology accepted. Thanks for taking me there, it was fun anyways." I said, and we both smiled. Tendou saw Semi and Goshiki come up. "Gotta go, I'll catch you at the party." He hugged me and ran off to meet them. I went back inside and sat back down next to (friend's name.) She looked at me and asked, "What was that for?" I looked at her and said, "Nothing, he just wanted to apologize for how he left things during the date. It's all good." I smiled and took out one of my latest drawings. I showed them to (friend's name) and she squealed. "Wow, you've improved since the last one! I love the shading you managed to create, it just makes it more beautiful." It was a drawing of a girl, full bodied, dressed as a gamer. She took one of hers out. It was a beautiful mountain scenery with 2 people atop the highest one and the mountain seemed to be growing flowers from all around. You know how it is with imagination. Creativity flows. "That's beautiful as well, and I loved the things you put into it." She smiled. We heard the bell ring and it was time to head off to our next class. I waved goodbye to (friend's name), who had class downstairs, and walked upstairs and out of sight.

Tendou's POV

It was the last class of the day. Everyone was so eager to get the hell out of here and go party. The teachers noticed this and made everyone continue doing their work up until the bell. Me, Goshiki, and Semi were sitting next to each other, doing work and talking as we worked. The topic was about volleyball until (yep you guessed it) Semi ruined it and brought up something I didn't wanna talk about. "So...what was that thing with you and (your name)? You looked distressed and needed to talk to her." Goshiki noticed this too and nodded. I sighed and looked at them. "Nothing, I just needed to talk to her. Jesus, what's up with this?" I looked at them, kind of annoyed they keep bringing this topic up. "I said I don't have feelings for her. I wanted to keep it mutual. That is that." Semi rolled his eyes and Goshiki faced me. "Dude, we know how that date went. She tried to KISS you. Why didn't you kiss her back?" I looked at him, starting to get pissed off. I tried to contain my emotions before answering. "I didn't wanna ruin our friendship over something more. That's a serious thing." I said, and stared back down at my work. Finally, after what felt like an hour, the bell rang and everyone screamed and cheered. I grabbed my things and was the first one out of the door. Semi and Goshiki tried to run after me, but I was too fast for them. I went and bought some things for the party. After a few more hours, I made my way down to the beach. It was packed with students and a lot was happening. There was a dance party dead in the middle, truth or dare circles, people kissing on the right side, it was chaotic. But, I managed to find my way to my team, where they all cheered. "There you are! Where the hell were you?" Semi said. I chuckled. "Well I had to go get some things before coming here. What's up guys?" The talking was everlasting. Then, I noticed a face among all faces. In the distance, I could see (your name) talking with a group of girls. Semi smirked and noticed. "Hey, how about we play a game of Truth or Dare with that group of girls by the water?" Everyone nodded in agreement, everyone except for me. Oh great. Just what I needed. "Alright sure, I'm in." We all walked down to the group of girls and they looked at us. I saw (your name) looking at me, her cheeks flushed as hell. We all sat down in a huge circle, some of us actually in the water, and we decided on the order. "Alright, you can NOT back out of a dare, no matter how bad you think it is. Y'all got it?" Everyone nodded.
