3~The Date

Your POV

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘺...

"OH MY GOSH, YOU'RE TELLING ME THE TENDOU SATORI ASKED YOU ON A DATE?!?" (your friend) asked me, nearly screaming her eyes out. I smiled and got her to calm down before answering her question. "Yes, he asked me on a date. I'm nervous because we're going after school...." I said, looking weary. She looked at me and squealed. "But this is great!! You get to be alone with him!" (Your friend) said, smiling. I looked at her and knew what she was thinking. 𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘯, 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘮....𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘸𝘬𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥....𝘰𝘩 𝘨𝘰𝘥. This thought stayed in my head for the rest of the day. I saw Tendou in the halls and we had a brief moment to talk, then we parted ways for the rest of the school day.

𝘌𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭....

It was finally the end of school. I rushed home quickly to do my homework and get a mocha before our date. The homework was somehow easier than I expected it to be. But, I knocked it out within a hour which was great. I went into my closet and looked for clothes that would suit the day. "Hmm...something comfy or something a bit outside the box?" I asked myself. I tried on just a comfy outfit, which was a hoodie and sweatpants. "Eh." I took that off and put on a off-shoulder shirt with jeans. I looked in the mirror and smiled. "This doesn't look all that bad, oh what the hell, I'll wear it." I went into the bathroom after that and put on a bit of lip-gloss and fixed my hair. I took a photo and it looked great. Finally, I went downstairs to grab my purse. I slipped my phone inside and my mom was waiting for me. "Aw, you look good! Where are you going looking like that?" she asked. I smiled. "I'm going out with a boy from school I met, he's really sweet and kind. Mom looked at me and smiled. "Well, have fun and stay safe. If you need anything, I'm a phone or text away." I smiled at mom and hugged her as I walked outside and got on my bike. 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘵, 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘶 𝘚𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪....𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰...𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳? 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭....𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘨𝘰. Just as I mounted my bike, I saw a motorcycle pull up next to me. The person took off their helmet and it was Tendou. "Hey, get on, I have an extra helmet for you!" He said that and tossed me a helmet. I smiled and got on. I waved to Mom, who was staring outside and watching me. I held Tendou's waist as we sped off, making sure I wouldn't fall off. We rode into the moonlight and arrived at a nice restaurant. Tendou parked the motorcycle and we got off, leaving our helmets on the side. He opened the door for me.

Tendou's POV

We walked into the restaurant that I chose out  for us, the beautiful interior just made it better. I walked up to the hostess stand. "Hi, table for 2, please." I said. "Okay, right this way!" the hostess said, and we followed him upstairs to a more secluded part of the place. He sat us down. "I'll be back to take your drink orders." he said as he walked off. (Your name) looked around and said "Wow, I've never been to a fancy place like this before." She smiled and was shocked. I smiled back and said "Don't worry about it, it's one of my favorites to go to." The hostess came back and took our drink orders and sped back to prepare them. (Your name) asked me a question. "So, what was that thing with your friends about? You seemed upset." I looked down and thought of how to explain it to her. "Well, they joked about me having feelings for you." As I said those words, she looked at me in shock. The silence was immediate and we got our drinks and they took our entree orders. We stayed silent for what seemed like hours. Oh shit, what's gonna happen? Is she gonna feel the same? But I can't possibly have feelings for her..

At last we finally got our food and began to eat. We made jokes and laughed them off, and it seemed to be getting back on track. I looked at her and smiled and she smiled back. After what seemed like hours, she glanced at her watch. "Oh shit, we should get home soon." she said. As she got up, I stopped her. "Wait, there is something I want I show you." She looked at me as I took her outside on the balcony. It overlooked most of the city and the beautiful night stars as the night bloomed on. "Wow, this is beautiful." She said. I nodded in agreement. Suddenly, she took my hand and held onto it and I felt weird. Fuck, I can't- I don't- oh god. She turned around to face me and I turned to face her. After a moment, she went in for a kiss. I had to block it. She looked confused. "Look, (your name), I like you a lot as friends, but as more than friends, I don't know. Our friendship is fine just the way it is and I don't want to ruin what we have. Cmon, we should get home." She looked sad and beat me to the motorcycle. I paid for the food and bought her a cheesecake. I got onto the motorcycle and sped to her house. 10 minutes later, we arrived there and I walked her to the door. "Here, I bought you this cheesecake." I handed her the bag and waved goodnight. My heart was hurting. I don't know what to feel. I got onto the motorcycle and sped off.

Your POV

Mom opened the door for me and smiled. "So, how did it go?" she asked. I said, "It went well, we had a good time and we had some of the best food in the town." I smiled and waved goodnight to Mom, walking upstairs into my room and locking it. I turned on the TV and watched some shows. Tears flooded my eyes. I tried to eat the cheesecake, but tears kept getting into it. I set the cheesecake on the desk. I got into my pajamas and thought about our date. Oh my god, how the hell did this turn out better? My heart was racing and I was trying to hide my blushes. I wanted to kiss him but...he didn't want to? I really think he's cute and he's sweet, and he's very talented. Oh god, what the fuck am I thinking?
