Jasmine's POV

"Jas! Jas!" a voice yelled, a small black figure running towards her.

"Wake up!" Mum's shrill voice travelled to my ears as I groggily threw away my covers and headed to the bathroom.

After fixing up my makeup and wearing my favourite tank top saying "Best Weekend" and jeans, I sauntered down the huge stairs to eat my breakfast.

A savoury smell of waffles wafted into my nose as I munched on the crunchy texture, moaning loudly at the sweet honey taste.

My younger brother, Louis, snickered, "Immature."

"Hey! That is just rude." I frowned as Louis stick his tongue out at me.

I was about to retort when my maid Maddie came rushing in and said, "Go, miss, your friend Clara is waiting for you outside."

I glared at my brother one last time before flipping my hair, grabbed my pink Prada bag and stalked out of the door in my cute white flats.

"Hey!" my best friend Clara greeted as I got into her red Ferrari. "Ready for the new year, Miss Popular?"

I giggled, "Don't be jealous, you are also popular and yah, we are so going to rock this year."

"Yup, this is like our last year of fun and it's study...study..." my best friend groaned.

Clara has been my best friend for as long as I could remember. We only lived ten minutes away from each other and our families were business partners and friends, so we usually went over to each others to play.

Soon we arrived at our college "Abbey College"

"Oh my god! It's the pop trio." Whispers could be heard as my other bestie Sarah looped her arms around mine as our heels clicked on the glossy marble to our classrooms.

You see, because we were always together, the Head Cheerleader, Clara, the Head of Debate, Sarah and me, the Head of Drama, our classmates decided to call us the "Pop Trios", it's quite original if you asked me.

"Hey baby..." a hand slithered around my waist as my boyfriend Dominic kissed me on my cheek. "Want to walk to class together?"

My best friends squealed as Clara said, "Hey, I need to get to class, see you lovebirds!", dragging Sarah along with her.

I sighed and smiled cheekily at Dominic as we started our day with the most awesome subject ever, Biology.

The day blurred until lunch came and I, sat at my usual place with my best friends.

"Do you know that new guy Daniel in our year?" Sarah mentioned as she stuck her fork into the spaghetti.

"Yah, I heard he's very hot." Clara wiggled her eyebrows.

"Ugh, he is so annoying. Yesterday in debating, he was so cocky all the way and asked random questions to get me and the teacher's attention." Sarah fumed as her fork made a clattering sound on the plate.

"Oh chill, Sarah, we all know you are the best at debating, it doesn't matter if he takes the attention for a little while." I laughed at Sarah's pouting face.

Dominic and his friends came over to our table and he kissed my forehead.

"So, how was your day?" he asked.

"You know, the usual." I said, slurping my orange juice. " But I got a C in math, there's something wrong with it, I swear math hates me."

"Well, of course you got a C. You suck at it." A snigger sounded behind me.

I turned around and glared at the smirking Beatrice who sat at the table behind us with the nerds.

"Watch it nerd." I said. " I get straight A's in all other subjects, it's just maths I'm not that good at. Besides, you are just jealous of my other achievements because you are a nerd who only knows how to study."

Beatrice stood up and her eyes blazed, while her friends at her side tried to pull her down and calm her.

"Oh, It's on, you dramaqueen." and threw all her strawberry smoothie on my new top.

In a flash, spaghetti was sprawled all over Beatrice's sweater. And soon enough, everyone in the cafeteria was screaming and throwing food at each other.

"Stop!" The headmistress boomed at the whole school when she came in the cafeteria. "What is the meaning of this!"  She yelled as she scanned the messy cafeteria with scattered pieces of meatball and juice spilled all on the floor.

"Who started this, raise your hands. Now!"

Beatrice's and my hand slowly arose from the colourful crowd, as juice dripped from my fingers and a spaghetti slipped from her hand.

"Come to my office, right now!" We sulkily followed her and arrived at her office.
