Talia Al Ghul was regarded as one of the most feared women of her time with deadly skills and an enchanting beauty that she often used to her advantage and succumbed her enemies to an irrevocable death.
However, she was not the only woman in the League of Shadows trained to that skill and dangerous ability. Alongside her was Veruna, the daughter of a dead prisoner who she had asked her father to pardon and grant permission to stay with her as her companion.
And though Veruna spent a lot of time with Talia, trained alongside her and even fought in the battles, there was an unmistakable barrier of master and servant existing between the two. A barrier that Talia loathed and did all in her power to overcome.
But it wasn't easy going against the deep set rituals of her people and little did Talia know that her increasing attachment to a slave might endanger not only her rank in the League but also her life.
