Chapter 1: What even, mom

Penny's POV: When Noahs lips left mine I felt like I was the luckiest girl in the whole world. No, scratch that, the whole universe. How could I ever think that my Brooklyn Boy would ever hurt me. Noah Flynn may be a famous singer, but he was not shallow. He's dark eyes sparkled as he looked at me. How could such a beautiful dark haired boy like someone with red, frizzy hair and unicorn nickers?

"I love you so much it might be love, Penny, remember that" Noah said with his soft, comforting voice.

"I love you so much it might be love too, Noah, remember that" I replied.

"Can I ask you a question?"

I nodded.

"Why Brooklyn Boy?"

I smiled. "I dont know actually, it just.. it just fits you"

He kissed me and we walked by the sea while holding hands. Time passed by so fast, I'm not sure how long we walked but maybe a couple hours? I could have walked with him for infinity, but my phone rang. I sighed, it was probally my mom, I was shocked when the screen lit up, Ollie. Yes, the same Ollie I had a huge crush on before I went to New York, the same Ollie who had opened my laptop and found out about my top secret, the same Ollie who had told Megan, and Megan had told a magazine.

"Are you gonna answer that?" Noah said interrupting my thoughts about my old friend.

"No, I don't want to waste my time on fake friends like... like him"

Noah furrowed his eyebrows. "Him?"

"Oh, just a- no forget it, it's not important right now" I smiled at him.

He kissed me and I pulled my finger through his messy hair. Suddenly a horrifying thought crossed my mind, how could we keep our realetionship with everybody thinking he was dating Leah Brown. They would think that I stole her boyfriend! Plus, he lived in New York while I lived in Brighton. I needed to tell him this but i didn't want to ruin this perfect moment.

I said to Noah that we could go home to me, he could sleep on the couch. When we arrived home and I opened the door I saw mom talking to someone, it was a girl, she looked at my age, long silky, brunette hair.

"I'm h- home?" I said nervous. Noah and I exchanged looks.

"Oh, there you are Penny! And Noah I see, we can talk about that later." my mom said reliefed.

"And this is my sisters daughter, your cousin, Skylar. I remember you guys were bestfriends when you were kids, isn't this great Penny!" my mom continued to talk but i didn't catch anything she said.

I was staring at Skylar, so were Noah.
