Chapter 6: my mouth is like a red, mouth-shaped waterfall.

I hear a knock on my door.
"Is something wrong, sweetie?"

Sweetie? My grandma calls me that.
Skylar opens the door and sits silently down on my bed.

"No, I'm just a little bit tired, it's been a long day you know." I reply, I've become a good actress the past few weeks.
"You seemed upset, Ponnie, did something happen with you and Ollie? Did he say something hurtful? Because if he did I will kick his stupid arse and-"

"No, no, no, it was lovely, he was lovely, but you know, people recognize my face and everyone has their own opinion and they don't understand that our problems are real and not for people to choose sides or whatever they're doing, I don't know, it just drains me."

I hear steps outside, it's probably Noah, my Noah.
He opens the door and flashes a smile at me.
"Well, I'll let you two have some time alone, scream my name if you need me, I'll be downstairs listening to music" and with that she walks out the door, even though she's gone in a second I could feel the tension between the two of them, but I'm to tired to even think about that now.
He kisses me and sits down, I put my head on his lap.
"I love you so much it might be love Pennie"
"I love you so much it might be love too Noah"
He kisses me again, everything is perfect.
Noah scrunches his nose, "as you probably know it's school tomorrow and I thought maybe I could j-"
"Join me?"
"Never mind it was a bad idea, forget I ever asked" he says so fast that I almost don't catch his words.
"No of course I want you to, why would you ever think I would not?"
He's face breaks up in a smile.
And with that we start talking about tomorrow and right now I couldn't be happier, I am surrounded by the people I love and yes I still have some problems to deal with but they're minor when I'm with him, it's like nothing matters, it's pretty scary how much control he has over me, but it's pretty damn beautiful too.

And hey he's pretty hot too.

"Fuck Penny, how do you do school?"
"Watch your language young man" I hear my mum yell from downstairs.

"You don't do school Noah," I reply and laugh, he's so cute when he is nervous.

"But Penny-"
"Did you just call me butt-Penny?" I say arching my brows.
And with that all Noah's nervousness disappear and my bedroom gets filled with laughter.
I thought I would be the one to get nervous but there is no reason to, I get to go with my boyfriend to school and not to brag or anything but he is super hot.
Most people at my school doesn't know I'm dating him, they think it's just a rumor that I sat out, yea, like I would do that.
I sigh "we better get going, I don't wanna be late,"
Noah looks at me "We won't be be late just-" he looks at the watch, "oh fuck we're late!" I laugh but it sounded more like a cross between a dying whale and a weird laugh, fortunate he was in such a hurry he didn't notice.

"Awe man, why did I even want to do this, I hate school, there's a reason I took a gap year. Oh fuck-"

"Noah, first of all, you don't have a single thing to worry about, you are older, and everybody loves you, and you are super hot and nob-" the words falls out of my mouth

"Can you say that again? I didn't catch it?" Noah interrupts me.
"Say what?" I ask even though I know what words he's talking about.
"Aw, Penny, you know what I'm talking about" He now has a wide green on his face, clearly enjoying my embarrassment.
"I said you have nothing to worry about cause you are..." I pause.
"Super hot" I continue.
"Could you say it a little louder please, it's so noisy here" I look around, it's dead silent around us, only a few people but they are all on their phones.
"You are super hot" I say quietly.
"Um sorry, didn't catch that?"
"You are super hot, bloody hell Noah! I almost yell, I blush in embarrassment because all the people walking past us looks at us.
Noah presses his lips against mine satisfied. I melt inside. My Brooklyn Boy.
We walk a little longer until we're standing in front of my school.

"Well since we don't have anybody to say it for us; good luck to us."

"Good luck to us" I repeat after him.

A/N: I know Noah is older than Penny but he goes to class with her anyway.
