What I wish for.

SOMETHING DIFFERENT (chapter 1)

So, I'm standing in front of my mirror, waiting for my mom to tell me that is time to go. Then, I sit down and lie down on the floor, looking at the ceiling.
That's how I started thinking how everything is going to start being totally different for me, and probably I'm going to figure out what I want to study or do with my life.
-Y/N!, It's time- my mom yells, I get up and quickly go downstairs. I see my dad and my mom sitting on the couch, but they weren't alone, there was this guy with blonde hair, and GOD, those eyes, as blue as the ocean. We immediately make eye contact, he smiles and so do I, but not as much as he does.
My dad gets up and stars walking to where I am standing -Darling!, you look so much taller since the last time I saw you- I can tell that he is about to cry.
-Yeah, giving the fact that the last time you came she was twelve- my mom says
-mom, please, not here, we have a guest- I say, my mom and dad can tell that I'm really done with them fighting.
-Sorry, honey- my mom apologizes
-I really don't care, just don't do it in front of me, please- I answer
-ohhh, how rude, sorry darling, this is Daniel, Daniel Seavey-. 'So, that's his name' I say to myself
-oh, hey, nice to meet you- I say giving him my hand so he can shake it

-hahaha, sorry, it's Y/N Geller-, I start to feel really stupid, 'dad, please, tell us that is time to go' I say to myself on my mind.
-Cool- he says smiling, I feel myself blushing.
-So, lets get going- thank god my dad interrupts, -yeah, i will help you with Y/N' s bags- Daniel says to my dad. As soon as they leave I turn to my mom and I see that she has her eyes full of tears, -mom...- I say and I feel like I'm about to cry
-I'm gonna miss you so much, darling- she says grabbing my face with her two hands
-so I'm I, mom- we smile and sob a little.
-Are we ready?- My dad asks
-yeah- I say and then I take a huge breath before going out.
We are walking outside and I get in the car, my dad is driving and Daniel is on the passenger seat. I see my mom and dad talking and then I turn around and I see Daniel looking through the mirror, then we, again, make eye contact, but this time we laugh.
-Are you excited?- Daniel asks me
-yeah, really excited, but also kind of scared- we keep looking at each other through the mirror
-well of course you are, tell me who wouldn't be if they were in your same situation?, but you know, I think that what you are doing is really brave- he says this to me and makes me feel so much better
-you think?- I half smile
-I know- he blinks one of his blue and perfect eyes at me, I can help but blushing.
-Also, if you feel like you need someone, I can be there for you- that's really kind of him
-aw, thank you, maybe you don't care or anything but I am here too- I say while putting my hair behind my right ear
-oh- he says and turns around to actually see my face -Y/N, of course it means something, I might take your word- we both laugh softly and then I smile and take a look to where my mom and dad were, my dad was already coming to the car.
