Chapter 14: Infiltration Preparation

The next day, Ren found himself going to school alone, as Akira wished to take the day off. He couldn't blame her after what happened. Apparently, she was going to help out Sakura-san in the café today, then go to ballet in the afternoon. It helped since he had to carry Morgana in his schoolbag. The train was just as crowded as always, though luckily he managed to snag a seat in time.

Later, during class, Ryuji texted them to meet up on the school roof after classes to talk about infiltrating Kamoshida's castle. Though Ren kind of wished he hadn't, since he ended up getting chalk to the forehead. Curtesy of Social Studies teacher, Mr. Ushimaru, who's apparently coach of the baseball team. So yeah, Ow! After school, they all met up on the roof to discuss their plan.

"Looks like we're all here. Okay, let's go in!" Ryuji exclaims.

"Hold on! It's still too early for us to head in." Morgana rejects.

"Huh? Why? Don't we need to steal that treasure thing?" The faux blonde asked.

"Don't go underestimating the dangers of that place. Considering what happened last time, we need to better prepare." The feline replies. He actually does kind of have a point.

"But... how do we prepare then?" Ann asks.

"I'm glad you asked, Lady Ann. First, we gonna need better equipment for all of you." He begins

"You mean weapons? I know this kick-ass place where we can get some real realistic looking ones. That's what we need, right?" Ryuji inputs.

"In that case, you can handle that side of things. The other thing is stocking up on medicine. Fatigue and injury are unavoidable in a Palace..." The cat continues.

"But, where do get medicine then?" Ann asked.

"Pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, doctors, right?" The sunny blond says.

"But don't you need prescription for that kind of thing?" The ash blonde asks.

"Hey, wasn't that costumer the other day a doctor?" Morgana asks Ren, who was quiet through the exchange. "Maybe she can prescribe something." He suggests.

"I guess." Ren replies.

"Alright, let's head off for today then." The cat says next and they all head home.

In Yongen, Ren and Morgana visit the clinic of Dr. Takemi. The clinic itself was pretty small, with no one waiting. He talked to the woman, noticing that she kept her punk rock look, but also wore a doctor's lab coat. An usual combination to say the least. He managed to lie and say he needed the medicine for school. So that was one infiltration supply down. Next was weapons, for the next day.

"Sakura?" Said girl turns to Yamazaki-sensei who called her name. It was the end of class and everyone was leaving. Akira had just grabbed her stuff when the teacher calls her name and quickly walks up to the woman as the other girls leave.

"Is something the matter, sensei?" The girl asked.

"Yesterday, you seemed a bit distracted. Was there something on your mind? I hope my words weren't what was distracting you." The woman says.

"Oh no, that wasn't it sensei." The girl replies hurriedly. "Some, things, just happened at school and my mind was on that." She then explains.

"Hmm, I see." The statuesque woman replied. "Dear, if you ever need to talk, I can lend an ear." She says.

"I'll be sure to remember that, sensei?" The ravenette girl replies then leaves.
