As I laid there frozen about what I just encountered I could see the worry on everyone's face. All their questions mushed together in one big mess, and I could barely hear anything anyone was attempting to say.

"Mia Bella?" I could faintly hear Adrian calling out to me, and as I opened my eyes more, everyone I love was there for me. Adrian, Shaelyn, Ryder, and the one person there for me no matter what, my brother Austin.

"Guys I think we should try to give her some room to breathe." Shaelyn said.

"She needs to be brought home with me." Adrian scowled.

"You dare challenge me?" Adrian said now towering over Shaelyn.

Austin was now in the middle of her and Adrian as you could see the steam coming from their bodies.

"Shaelyn I think you should back off a bit." Ryder said as his eyes flashed between a dark grey and a silver blue."

"Guys" I said in a low raspy voice.

"Go and check on your mate, let her know that I did not mean for shit to get so crazy so fast. I'm just worried about my girl." Adrian said as he put a hand on Austin's shoulder, and with that Austin left the room silently. I wonder why he did not challenge Adrian. As alpha of our pack its his right to go against another alpha for disrespecting his mate. Maybe its because Adrian is my mate? As my brother, maybe it means something to him. God, I hope mom doesn't find out. Speaking of which, I could sense her earlier, but I don't see her anywhere. Did she leave?

"Umm guys?" I said in another annoying raspy voice, and no one heard me.

"Ryder can I talk to you?" Adrian asked.

"Uhh sure why not." As they left the room, I let myself fall in and out of consciousness, even though it seems I've been asleep this whole time, I was still exhausted.

Ten minutes. Maybe twenty have gone by? I had no idea, but it felt like years. As I was slowly falling back asleep, I smelled someone come into the room. It wasn't a normal scent I was used too, so I figured it was a doctor. I could hear shuffling back and forth and then silence.

Dead silence. I was not prepared for what happens next.

This person is trying to kill me! A pillow smothered to my face, and I could barely breathe.

"HELP. HELP! Get off me!" I screamed only to be muffled into the pillow. I tried so hard to fight my attacker off, and to see who it was, and when I finally did, my eyes damn near popped out of my head.
