3, the quartz omen.

hope was already at the meeting platform waiting impatiently for the other leaders. They were so slow! They sure did take there sweet time didn't they?
"Hope?" Faith spoke warily. Hope looked over at faith her wings folded behind her back.
"Yes?" hope asked having there attention on faith now. Faith pointed to the scene they just missed. Fang was rushing over and a very flustered looking siege was lying on the floor.
"Get up." Fang ordered. Hope could tell he couldn't move. They laughed slightly.
"What did you do this time?" Hope asked in an exasperated tone. Fang smiled slightly looking back over to ember who was struggling to keep it together.
"You know he's gay right?" hope asked they knew how forgetful Fang was. Even if he was strong he didn't have the best memory.
"Yes I did know that!" Fang remarked defensively.
"Oh did someone forget again?" Hope joked lightly punching the leader. Fang sighed in annoyance shaking his head.
"you never change do you?" Fang muttered.
"And you never Came out yet did you?" Hope retorted. Fang looked up quickly staring hope dead in the eye.
"Don't you dare.." He said harshly. Hope didn't feel any fear. Fang had some decency for a demon. He wouldn't attack them for that. No one was nearby in the first place. Hope nudged him again
"Don't worry you big softy I'm not gonna expose you in front of your husband to be" hope joked again. Fang grumbled hiding his face but hope knew he liked ember secretly and hope also knew that ember liked Fang. They were gonna set them up eventually but this meeting was more important. A rush of wind blew behind hope and they turned they already knew who it was, it was maple and ivy. The insects leaders.
"Hello there." Fang greeted. Maple nodded in greeting hope waved slightly turning around. another leader had arrived as well. The leader of the pheonix's, aura
"You took your time." Fang said icily.
"Good to see you too." she said glaring at Fang. Hope knew they had just had a skirmish on the border one of aura's guards had killed one of fangs archers. From a good range too. Its his fault for messing with the firebreathers in the first place. Fang turned from aura to walk to his seat marked with an inverted triangle inside it was a lightning bolt. hope's chair had an inverted triangle with what looked to be a wisp of fire inside it. maples had a leaf of some sort inside the triangle and aura's was just black inside. one seat remained untouched, the fairy leaders chair. they were known for being late usually they came in with an entrance considering how flamboyant they were. but this time the leader, winter had just walked up the hill. No entrance no announcement.. That's odd.. Hope thought to themself.
"Hey!" he said cheerfully. everyone muttered there hellos. winter was dressed in a dark purple boa with a very nice lilac dress shirt. He always seemed to dress in purple. Hope saw no point in clothes. They were all fluffy they didn't need to cover up anything in the first place. hope glanced at aura who just stared at maple. Maple was looking at aura uncomftorably. Winter sat in his chair and the quartz started to glow. A faded ghost stepped out of it. A few more joined it. They went to there respected leaders and they started talking. one... Two.... Three.... Four? Only four? Where's the fifth? Where's max? hope looked around and saw the others talking hushed to there passed on friends to carry on messages to the other side. hope looked at the crystal.
"Max..?" They spoke aloud quietly. Faith looked at hope for a second.
"Where is he?" She asked. Hope shrugged in confusion. Suddenly a spirit jumped out of the crystal falling onto the platform. Hope tried not to laugh as max dusted himself off. He didn't have any kachakan disease features. He was just a normal wolf. He had pale yellow fur and it appeared wet.
"Where were you?" hope asked impatiently.
"You know how I am!" He said exasperated. He was breathing heavily.
"Almost didn't make it to the gate In time!" He said quickly. Hope laughed. Just like when they knew him back when he was alive.
