Baekhyun couldn't process with the reality that a 100's of years old letter was designated to him. He took his time to wrap his mind around and was gonna read further when he heard a loud shattering sound, he sensed some unwanted presence. Using his powers, he rapidly made both the articles dissipate into the air tucking it away somewhere safe. After doing so, he sped out to find out the cause of that sound.
He reached outside just to see a broken eagle wall-sculpture made up of metal on the floor beside an injured Jisoo. Her left leg and arm were heavily bleeding. Some of the broken pieces were pierced into her skin. Her face and weeping showed the excruciating pain she was feeling.
Jin, who was the first one to reach her, immediately took those metal scraps out of her skin making her whimper and shriek in pain. Others too had reached by that time.
To avoid tetanus and stop the heavy bleeding, Jin bit his wrist piercing his skin to acquire the blood to ooze out and when it did, he made her drink it. Jisoo somehow swallowed the red thick liquid which tasted and smelled like iron. She almost threw up but did her best keeping it inside her system.
With the help of the supernatural properties of a vampire's blood, both of the couples were healed in no time but they were still weak. Due to this, everyone agreed to leave the mansion admitting the fact that there were no clues at the place. But before they could go out, the main door closed down on its own. Or so they thought. Everyone was startled. They inspected the whole area looking out for anything suspicious but found none. Somehow all the lights and chandeliers in the hall lit up taking them off guard, if the situation would have been different then the lights would have been a relief factor but now it had made it eerier.
Just then, black silhouettes started surfacing up abnormally sprinting across the hall making it impossible to sight them. The young vampires heightened their senses trying to keep up with the speed. The dark figures started demolishing the hall throwing stuff to and fro.
One thing was sure that they too were vampires who dared to go against their king but they were being supported by witches giving them extra powers, enough to hurt them all at once but not for long. Taehyung easily saw through their plan and asked everyone to scatter around. They all scattered in a duet but before everyone could do so, two of these vampires caught Jisoo.
Being used as a shield for her kidnapers, none of her friends could free her from their grasp. All these vampires huddled together before their king, Taehyung. Others too gathered behind Taehyung letting him do the negotiating except Jin who was standing beside him.
Jisoo was held captive. Her arms were held by the two vampires while their leader was standing behind her while gripping her nape.
Jin: Leave her alone or else you'll not be able to see the coming moon. *he said with gritted teeth, trying not to charge at them and worsen the situation.*
Taehyung: What are you doing here and what do you want?*He yelled*
Leader: Hand us the keys and we'll let her go. Nothing can replace the keys.*he replied with slight fear*
Yoongi: Who told you about this, why do you want them and of what use are the keys for you?*he furrowed bis eyebrows and questioned*
Leader: We are just middlemen, by giving these keys we'll acquire this new power for ourselves.
Namjoon: Who is this person? Is it a woman?
Leader: Yes!, she is the regent of her coven. She has sealed a contract with us. By fetching her these keys, we'll get these powers to keep forever. So now, if you want this girl alive, then do so or get ready for her funeral.
Jin: Don't You Dare or I'll rip out each limb of yours!!
Y/n: Don't harm her, We-we'll give you the keys.
Jisoo: No! Don't give them the keys. Yn-ah? Think rationally. *The leader chocked Jisoo for few seconds stopping the intake of oxygen. and pointed a dagger at her heart for holding them*
Yn: Stop! here take the keys, just leave her.
Yn hesitantly stepped forward with the newly found key in her hand when Jisoo sobbed and whispered a 'no' and muttered a sorry looking at Jin with guilt before forcing the dagger inside herself. The tiny yet sharp weapon pierced through her skin and plunged inside her heart. Everyone yelled in denial when Jin rushed to his beloved before, her trembling and weak body could meet the cold ruined floor. The middlemen took this as their cue and fled away. By then Jisoo had already breathed her last, ending her frail human life.
Jin was beyond devastated, he cried while looking at his lover's excessively bleeding and cool body. He was crying hysterically, trying to get his blood inside her system to heal her. He didn't accept the end of his mate. He mourned, begging for her to wake up. He pleaded her to open her eyes but he knew, nothing could bring her back to him. Even the royal witch wouldn't be able to help him bring Jisoo back to life.
Others too cried at their precious sister's death but none of their pain could compare to that of the one Jin was feeling. No one was going through with what Jin was. Yoongi taking the responsibility of being the second oldest kneeled beside Jin, patting his shoulder to comfort him.
Jin wept and leaned down towards Jisoo to kiss her for the last time as a goodbye.
