1 is Greater Than 7

Fine China

Today. Started. Off. Horribly. We all woke up basically as frozen popsicles. The blizzard that started yesterday ended up knocking out about 10 blocks worth of power here and there. No power means no heat. Fortunately, that also means Starship is down, so Monsta X now had the day off. Unfortunately, that did not include me since my schedule had nothing to do with Starship HQ. 

Today is the day my promotional photos with B.A.P. got rescheduled for. I had to take a cold shower(really, really, not pleasant in the middle of a cold house, in the middle of winter). I cannot even begin to describe to you how many different layers of clothing I put on myself: 3 shirts, 2 sweaters, 2 leggings, jeans, 2 pairs of socks, leg warmers, scarf, hat, 2 pairs of gloves, and a coat. I was basically waddling out of the house like a penguin. I was about to leave but taking one last look around at everyone made me pause for a moment. They looked miserable. Everyone was wrapped in individual blankets huddled around the little candle light we had. There was nothing to do and the house only seemed to be getting colder.

I let out a sigh, knowing I'll probably regret this later but, "Do you guys wanna come watch my photo shoot?" I asked. It was sickening at how in unison they all turned their heads to look at me.

"What did you say?" Kihyun repeated. Hesitantly, I repeated, "I said, Do you guys wanna come watch my photoshoot?"

They all just stared back at me like, 'Are you really asking me that right now?'

"Soooooo, is that a yes?" No reply. Still blank looks. I turned back around and started heading for the door again.

"Look," I started, "If you don't want to come then just say s..." but when I turned back around everyone was gone before I could even finish my sentence. Well that's rude. Is it too much to ask them for a little support? Maybe they've been putting on brave faces till now. I thought we had made some real progress though. My negative thinking started to run rampant inside my head. I try to keep myself positive but sometimes, my brain can take me to dark places. It really was a crappy morning. Just wanting to get today over with I left the apartment and headed towards the elevators. Work is probably the only distraction I can think of right now.

Monsta X POV

WHAM
"Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"It sounded like the door closing."
"The door? Did you tell her that we were coming?"
"No. I thought you told her."
"......."
*investigates*
"She's gone."
"What!?"
"Ahhhh, hurry up! Give me my shoe!"
"We need to catch the van before it leaves."
"Idiots. I'm surrounded by idiots."
"You didn't tell her either."
"Tch."
"Stop arguing and bring yourselves. We're gonna have to make a run for it. Skip the elevator. We're taking the stairs."
*sound of 7 pairs of furious feet pounding down the stairs and out the dorm doors, flagging down the company car before it makes its final getaway*

Taliah POV

Once we got to the site, everything began moving at an incredible pace. I didn't even get to say hi to B.A.P. or bye to Monsta X. The thought of them made me smile a bit. I had thought they hid from me, but in reality, they had left to go get ready. All of their flailing arms in the rear view mirror brought a small chuckle out of my mouth, but it quickly disappeared once a certain thought came to my mind. For some reason, Monsta X dislikes Yongguk a great deal. They know this is a collab photo shoot right? Ah geez. I hope they'll be civil while I'm getting ready.

No One POV

Monsta X was all standing against the wall behind the photographer, facing the backdrop waiting for Taliah to finish getting ready. Everyone had mixed feelings but were all equally as nervous. Hyungwon and Changkyun were eager to see how cool their Dongsang and Noona could be. Minhyuk hoped to see her sexy side again, while Wonho was looking forward to some unbearable UwUs. Kihyun just wanted to see his princess in something pretty, while Jooheon and Shownu, were conflicted. They still did not know how exactly they felt about Taliah.
