"Breaking News. XX Penitentiary is now under extreme scrutiny for allowing a locked up convict to escape. This criminal, Luna Griggs, is suspected to be highly dangerous. If you see her, please do not try to approach her, but instead please report her location to the authorities. She was seen last with this man, who has been identified as Cole Daniel Reeds, who supposedly passed away in the same penitentiary 4 years ago. He is also considered highly dangerous. We ask for your utmost discretion in this matter and ask that you please keep your eyes open and stay safe. This is an international alert."

Seeing Luna and Cole's faces flash across the screen seemed surreal. I could tell the guys were thinking the same thing. Whenever there was a big problem in front of me, my mom always walked me through a series of questions. Can I do anything about it? No. Welp, that didn't last long. Is that exactly right tho? Can I do anything about it? Yes, I just haven't tried. For the first time concerning my ex, the wheels in my head started to turn. I use to just sit by and let whatever was gonna happen, happen. But not this time, I'm not just gonna sit here and play victim anymore.

I stood up quickly and ran to my room to grab my phone. All the boys looked after me puzzled. I came back out a couple seconds later, furiously dialing a number. "Taliah who are you call-" Minhyuk got cut off by own voice, "Willie? Hi! Are you busy? No? Okay, good. Do you remember the friend you said you had in the police force? Is it possible to set up a meeting with him in like the next, 30 minutes? Yea? Okay, meet me at the Starship building then. Okay thanks. Bye!"

I hung up the phone and started dialing away again. "Taliah what on earth?" Wonho began but I was already speaking with someone else, "Hello? Manager-nim? Sorry to call so last minute, but are you able to get in contact with Yongguk's manager for an emergency meeting in the next 30 minutes? I know, I know. Really!? Okay thank you so much!"

Then I finally turned to the boys, "Get ready, we need to leave for Starship in 15 minutes."

"Now wait just a minute! You need to explain what's going on first!" Kihyun exclaimed.

I looked them over, "You are all apart of what I consider a 7 layer shield, and I am the protective bubble put around your hearts. I won't let our lives get run over and destroyed all over again. Now Get. Ready. I'll explain the rest when we arrive."

The boys just looked around at each other. I could tell they were still confused but left to get ready. Whenever I need them, they are always there.

A half hour later in a conference room at Starship.

I arrived with the rest of Monsta X to find Manager-nim, Yongguk and his manager, and Willie along with his police friend already waiting on us. I bowed to everyone when entering, and then bowed to the tv since Willie's police friend was contacting us via video conference. I motioned for the boys to take a
seat. Expectant eyes were all watching me.

"I know you all are probably wondering why I called you here tonight. I first want to take the time to thank you for trusting and having faith in me in order to gather on such short notice with so little information. I'm sure you've all seen or at least heard about the recent news incident about the two escaped convicts, well I can tell you they're here, in Seoul and I know how we can catch one of them, tonight."

It took a minute, but once everyone had processed what I stated, they either looked at me as if I grew a second head or scoffed it off. "You? Catch a criminal? Please tell me you're joking." Yongguk said. I just shook my head. "I'm serious." I stated. I turned to Willie's police friend, "Ah, I'm sorry, how can I address you?" Willie stepped up to speak, "I apologize, this is Lieutenant Kim, we both served our military time together."
