The first thing I notice when I start coming to is that it is cold so I am most likely underground. I peel my eyes open and take in the room I'm in.
I hear the door being opened and in walks a man that I have never seen before in my life. Just great.
"Who are you?"
"Wouldn't you like to know."
"Yes that is why I asked. Wow you are really slow."
Well I guess that made him made because I felt a sting on my cheek and my head snapped to the side. Guess I poked the bear. Oops.
I look back at him
"What was that for?!"
He looked at me with a disgusted face and then left. Well I guess he isn't going to answer. I wait for a while until the door opened again. And once again I had no idea who it was.
"Hello my name is Alexander Valdez."
"And why is that of any importance to me?"
"I am the one who has been slowly going up in this world and plan on taking down your family."

"Why?
"Because I crave power and you are the key to it. Set up the camera!"
I was quickly untied and taken to another room. We passed an exit on the way there so I made a mental note of how to get back there. They placed me in another room and tied me to a chair in front of a video camera.

The door opened and in walked the wanna be.
"This video will be live streamed to your family."

I saw the little red light on the camera come on meaning that they could see me. I am sure they are probably freaking out right now but I needed to do this because whoever this guy is has been causing problems and wants to harm my family. That is where I draw the line. I know it is time to get out of here so I start working on the ropes tying me down.

All of a sudden I feel a knife pressed to my neck and I look up at the camera. Alexander is standing behind me holding the knife and he starts talking to the camera.
"What a lovely daughter you have. I have made it my mission to bring down your family and that started with you Lorenzo (her father) but then Marco took over and then a little birdie informed me that Zayne and Noel here were getting married and taking over."

The knife was getting pushed harder and harder as each minute went by and I could feel blood trickle down my neck.

"If you don't want to see your precious daughter get killed then here is what you will do. You will give me 20 million dollars and hand over your mafia."
I just roll my eyes at this stupid man.
"Yeah there is just one problem."

"And what is that" he sneered.

"You made a small but lethal mistake......you underestimated me."
Before he could react I had my hands free and the knife away from my neck. I quickly slit his throat and shoot the two guards in the room using his gun. I take the weapons off the guards and make my way back towards the exit I saw, killing anyone who tried to stop me.
I was just about to open the door when I heard someone cry out for help. I just couldn't leave that place and not check. I was only here for a couple hours but I am sure others have been here much longer. I look down the hallway and see most of the guards from this compound dead on the ground. Guess they shouldn't have tried to stop me. I run towards the scream and find a hallway with only one door. I but my ear against the door and only hear two male voices. I brace myself and kick the door down. I immediately see a girl cowering in the corner and without hesitation I shoot the two guys and cautiously walk over to her.
In a calming voice I tell her "I'm here to help you it is ok." She slowly looks up at me and then looks at my outstretched hand. Hesitantly she takes it and I help her off the ground. I can tell just by looking at her that she hasn't had a good meal in a while and judging my the bruises and scars she has been here for a while.

"Ok, follow me and stay close."
She nods and follows me out. Once again I get to the door and push it open I see that the sun is setting which means I was here for roughly six hours. We are surrounded by trees but I can hear cars so we aren't to far from the road. I motion for her to follow me as I navigate us through the woods. After about 15 minutes we make it to a road and I look around for a road sign. I see that we are about two hours from home and the nearest town is about a 20 minute walk.I turn to the girl and ask "Can you walk for about 20 minutes?"
