Anika smiled and went near him whereas Harsh followed Anika being lost

"Your clothes were there so thought to bring them ",he said with an hidden smirk wheras Anika was trying to control her laughter seeing cold war between her father and husband.. there is more yet to come she thought

He tried to hold Anika's hand but she glared him because she knew he wanted to irritate Harsh that's why he is trying to do that

"You are being shy like I was going to hold your hand for first time", he whispered near her ear and stood straight like he said nothing

Anika looked here and there which made him laugh mentally

"It's Anika's bag right? ", Asked Harsh

"Correction. It's our bag. In short even I will live here with my wife", he said streching word wife which irked Harsh

"What's the need? ", Asked Harsh angrily but Shivaay ignored his angry voice and replied in calm voice

"It's needed because I vowed to protect her. Also even if you were not involved in marriage that doesn't mean you will deny. Truth is we are married", he said and asked servants to place bags in one room where Anika was staying

"I know you are snatching her independence by forcing her to live with you. Now she can't even stay a day out alone", shouted Harsh angrily as Shivaay was hurting his ego by talking politely. Harsh wanted to see how Shivaay misbehave with him but here Shivaay was like a gentleman which hurted his ego

"I am not doing anything. You can ask her. She was the one who was sad when she thought I am leaving her alone hope you remember", said Shivaay

"Y...yes dad. He gave me freedom. I can do job..I can do anything. In short I feel lucky to have a husband like him", she said while eyeing him wheras he smiled widely

He now realised what Anika must be feeling when he supported her in front of his parents.

"Anika I know he has forced you to say this loud. I had seen many times where husband threaten their wife's to praise him", he said which angered Anika as she can hear many things for herself but not for him

"Dad", she said a bit loudly

"Believe me I am saying truth. Anyways I don't care what people think about us . I just know one thing that he is much more better than the people I met till now. Instead bestest. He is the one who took care of me who supported me in every possible way",she said while looking straight in his eyes

"Also if you had seen husband's threatening their wife then didn't you saw husband respecting their wife as well", she asked being hurt as people always blame him for everything.

"Anika he is..", Harsh tried to talk but Anika left from there without hearing any accusion

"Uncle...I mean sir.. I don't know what to call you but please can you try to be normal in front of her . See how much she is hurt with your words", said Shivaay in low voice because seeing her hurt he was sad

"What do you mean by normal? And regarding words then that was truth", said Harsh angrily

He still can't believe that Shivaay is changed. Also he wouldn't have reacted much but here it's regarding his daughter's life

"I am really changed its upto you to believe or not. Maybe from news you saw me same like before but trust me I am different for her", saying this he left from there leaving him alone
