"This is for me?" I asked as I turned from the group of people to naè and Aj.
"YES! we knew you were coming home and we wanted to make it special so I decided to throw you a party with the help of Aj, now go have fun it's your night enjoy yourself all these people came to welcome you back home." Naè said smiling at me.
"We really missed you girl." Aj said as she pulled me into a hug.
I smiled at them before speaking "thank you, so much both of you. Now you have fun too! I love you guys." They both nodded giggling at me.
"Now let's stop wit' this gay ass shit and go find us some men." Aj said pushing her hair behind her ear.
"True, true speaking of men there's one now, that's my cue." Monaè said walking off.
I laughed as she walked in front of these guys clearly trying to get there attention only naè would do that. "aye, im about to hit the bar, you wanna come?" I asked looking over at Aj.
"Nah I'm good, I gotta drive us home have fun." She laughed holding up the keys.
I chuckled, walking over to the bar. I looked up at the bartender glancing at his face God he was gorgeous perfect skin color, and nice a nice ass shape up. I guess I was staring to long because he looked up at me and smiled, I blushed clearly embarrassed.
"Hey Yana." he said smiling at me with his pearly white teeth. How did he know me? or even my name? I gave him a confused look before answering.
"hi um.. do i know you?"
"You don't remember me do you?" I shook my head fast, i'm pretty sure if I knew him I would have remember because lord he was fine.
"It's Rodney, you know from high school, back then I was skinny with glasses and braces a real nerd, you were my best friend." I opened my mouth as I pieced the parts together it was Rodney.. but not the same one I knew from high school a whole different sexier Rodney.
"RODNEY! omg, how have you been?" I said sitting up leaning against the bar with my elbow.
The whole night I spend my time talking to Rodney and catching up, He was 22 and working as a bartender until he got his medical degree he was studying to be a doctor, he was single and looking for a girlfriend, by the time we finished talking the party was over and Andrea was looking for Monaè. I stood up watching her search for her.
"I guess I should go help her, it was really nice seeing you." I said smiling up at him as I got out of my seat at the bar.
"Wait Yana?" I turned around and looked at him.
"Yeah?" He smiled at me with his pearly whites shining at me once again.
"Can I uh have you number?" I nodded my head, grabbing a napkin, pulling a pen out of my bag scribbling my number on the napkin, handing it to him. "There, call me." I said before walking off to find Andrea and Monaè.
