TWENTY FIVE

"Hey bitch" Aria said walking into my apartment with Grayson tailing behind her.

"Well hello to you too" I open the door giving Grayson a smile.

"Can I talk to you alone" He whispered as Aria went rummaging through my cupboards for food.

"Ya sure" I say slightly nervous about why.

"Hey Aria me and Grayson are gonna be on the porch" I say walking outside with Grayson

"Ya ya okay" Aria waves us off as she pulls out multiple bags of chips. We both giggle and walk through my room to go outside. I dust off the only chair I had outside for Grayson to sit on as I sit on the ledge resting ym back against the wall. Face my feet toward what little view I had. He smiles and sits down.

This is too strange.

"So what's up Grayson?"

"Well, maybe I should ask you that" he said turning his chair to me.

"What do you mean?" I say turning my head to him

"Left up your sleeve." He says in a serious tone. I sight lighting my sweatshirt a bit leaving my bruised arm.

"Oh my god." He says as he gets up to look at my arm. I can't help but laugh at his admiration for my mangled arm. His face all shocked and stuff it killed me.

"Stop why are you laughing?"

"BAhahahaha" I continue to laugh as he tries to get more serious.

"Naileaaaa" he wines stomping his foot. That sends me over the end holding on to my stomach in laughter. I feel myself leaning backward.
"Oh my god Nai" I hear him say as I lean back further. Grayson grips his arms around me and pulls me off the edge. I shut up immediately and realize I was falling. My head was in tucked into his chest. It felt so comforting to be embraced like this. It reminded me of my dad a lot. I felt myself staring to cry and Graysons grip only getting stronger around me. He rubs his arm up and down my back while his other hand gripped onto my head bringme closer to his shoulder.

It was a couple of hours later and I had explained how I got mugged the day before coming back to the apartment. I even went as far as to tell both Aria and Grayson about Elijah and the nightmare I had about him. The rest of the evening we spent watching movies and Aria serving me food for once.

"I think you should stay over at my place Nailea" Grayson said pausing halfway through Toy Story.
I turn to Aria and she had the same look of concern as Grayson.

"Guys im okay, its in the past now."

"I know it in the past Nailea but Aria and I would feel alot safer if you stay with me." I turn to Aria and she nods her head.

"Can I stay with you Aria?" I ask her considering I already live half the time at my place.

"No can do Bill Nai parents are in town" I laugh at the nickname she decided to give me.

"Do I have a choice?" I turn to Grayson and ask him. Grayson nods his head no as Aria says "nopee"

I role my eye playfully knowing they just want me to be fine. Truth is I was fine, I think I am, I guess.

Graysons POV
8:00pm

It was getting pretty late and thought we should get out of this place before It gets too dark. I knew Nail could handle herself but Im worried she is too used to this kind of treatment after she explained her ex-boyfriend's story. Im glad Ethan told me about it otherwise I would have let her sleep again in this place.

Flashback to earlier

"Where were you last night" Ethan said randomly as I was cleaning up the living room.

"Was with Aria and Nai" I say in a questing voice of why he had a sudden interest.

"And you let that happen to her?" He said raising his eyebrows in a judgemental way.
I drop my blanket to the couch and answer "what?"

"She had bruised up arm today in class. Did you let someone do that?" He spit out harshly.

"No you Asshat, why would I ?!" I say grabbing my keys.

"Where are you going?" he said going back to his phone.

I walked out the door and picked up Aria and drove to Nai's place.

Current Time
8:10pm

Arias was helping Nai pack up some of her clothes while I was making us some food to go. She insisted she made the food because she didn't want me doing so much work with her now living with me for a bit. That's just one of the things that I really liked about her. She is so thoughtful, caring...pretty.

"Alright let role" Aria comes strutting out of the room with a purse over her shoulder. I laugh and Aria and admire her confidence.

Nailea's POV
8:30 pm

We finally got all packed up into the car. We were on the way to drop off Aria and still had a longs way to go. I sat at the back and let the lovebirds have their moment. I smile at the idea of them being together as I stare out the window. I am so thankful to have such kind friends in my life. My mind started to ramble as I thought about living arrangements. And it hit me like pins and needles when I realized I would have to live with Ethan as well.

"me cago en todo", I shit on everything. I swear out loud to.

"Woah, ¿qué fue eso del Amor? ¿Estás bien?", Woah what was that about love? You okay? Aria says to me as she turns around.

"Hey that's not fair translate for me"

I laugh at Grayson and say I'm okay. "I just bit my tongue" I motion toward my mouth.

She nods and turns back and translates what I said to Grayson. I see his eyes widen making us both laugh. Aria may be white but she was as good as fluent in Spanish as a native speaker. She passed AP Spanish with flying colors she would tell me.

I throughout about how I was going to avoid Ethan. Figure out what time he wakes up so I can be outside of the house by than.
Oh my god, I'm a fucking Idiot. I still have a whole ass project with him! Am I just gonna forget how I had a dream about him. I dear lord my hormones need to calm down.

Okay, you know what Nai think of the positive. You are going to be with Grayson who is one of your best friends. Like a week long sleepover that's fun!? As for the project, it's more convenient so that's good.

Wait hold on one second, how did Grayson even find out? Aria couldn't have told him because she didn't even notice it? Ethan. Did Ethan tell him? But why?

It's not outside of the norm to tell your brother your friend was hurt smarty pants, I tell myself.

God, please give strength.
