Enjoy a long one <3⚠️⚠️
Recommend playing Gentrify (slowed) when I say for a more intense version. Trust me it makes it a 1000 times better

I had driven back to campus to go and sit through the rest of my classes for the day. I couldn't even concentrate. I was too angry at Ethan. I barely knew the kid and why I let him upset me so much. I don't know? But I need to distract myself and no other person could be more perfect than Grant. Just strangers getting off each other. Aria and I after our last class went to chipotle. We both ordered and finished our bowls there and made our separate places home. It still felt pretty early. Only 9:00pm.

I decided to stop by my favorite ice cream parlor for a scoop. Not only did they have the best ice cream I have ever had but had the nicest people working there. Ever since I was three my dad Noel and I would come here. Just so many great memories tied to this place as well as the people. Just knowing me inside and out. My dad was best friends with the owner at the time. Unfortunately, he passed away due to pancreatic cancer. I remember not understanding what was going on and thinking he had moved away. Naive I know. His son Kian would always be around. Whenever my dad and Noel would get into a conversation with him I would just be left kind of aside just minding my own and eating ice cream. Kian was always there to keep me company and try to occupy me. He was 3 years older than me.

We had a really nice bond. Like a second brother to me. As we started coming around less frequently around eleven I started to fall out of contact with Kian.

I walked into the parlor, the smell of vanilla and strawberry filled the air. I saw they had all the same furniture, signs, and flavors. Nothing had changed.

I walked over to the spot where we always used to sit, the farthest corner in the parlor away from the door with the view of the park. I immediately smiled as I sat in my usual spot. It was pretty empty, however, it is 9:00pm and 30 degrees outside. So there is that.

I see someone coming from the back of the kitchen walking towards me to take my order. He stopped in his tracks and just stood there. Looking like he had seen a ghost. I'm confused at this and turn around to see if he was looking at someone behind me. As I motion to spin around I just set my eyes on the pink tiled wall behind me.

"¡Imbécil, estás sentado en un rincón!"
Idiot, you are sitting in a corner!
I say murmuring to myself as I turn around awkwardly making eye contact with this guy.

He walked up to me laughing as he said
"Still the same dumb ass Nailea I see"

My mouth goes wide. I realize who I am staring at. It was Kian! So many questions go through my mind. How is he still here? What school does he go too? How did he get so hot? Last time I saw him he was slightly taller which was short. He was skimpy with black hair and looked like the sweetest person around. Now he looks like a badass man. He had bleached blonde hair to the root, more on the silver side. Cool ass tattoos on the side of his arm and was tall-tall. WAYYYY TALL. I stood up and gave him a huge signature bear hug of mine.

He let himself get squished by me and pretend he couldn't breathe as he said between fake loss of breaths "Still the same deathly grip"

I laugh as I punch him in the arm and take my seat again.

"You look great Nailea! Where have you been? What's going on with you? Are you visiting? Where are Noel and dad?"

"Woah Woah slow down Kian I got a hell lot of questions for you too" He laughs as he grabs my hand sitting down across from me. Looking at me with the same sparkling eyes he had when we were 11 and 14. He was a big guy now but he will always be my skimpy little carebear.
