Oh wow, I am in way over my head.

I'm standing on the set for the music video, completely lost.

Thankfully, I am not very good at acting yet so they aren't going to make me act beyond lip syncing and pretending to play my guitar with the band.

It's a song about love anyway. I don't want to act like I'm in love with a stranger.

For the first half of the day I don't even have to be in front of a camera, I just get to watch.

"Sweet summer dreams in the middle of July
I'm only a beautiful face... just passing you by"

The song ends for what feels like the millionth time.

"And... One more time!" The director decides.

I sigh inwardly as the music starts up again and we prepare to start over, trying to capture the feel of the song.

"How was that?" I ask, after the 9th time. Pretending to sing is actually quite hard.

I've had to change shirts twice, the green tee I am wearing keeps getting sweat through. The heavily applied makeup and bright lights don't help matters either.

"Yep, I think that wraps things up!"

Everyone cheers and we all high five each other.

Jason grabs my hand and spins me around in a little dance. I laugh, feeling like a huge weight's been lifted off of my chest.

Mike and Chris start playing some nonsensical tune and I join in.

The camera men smile and point their cameras at us. For about 5 minutes we just jam. We end up playing 'Blue Jeans, Blue Sky'. After all, it's been stuck in our heads and on replay in our ears for the past 6 weeks.

"What's going on in here?" April's voice booms over the music.

"Sorry, we were just celebrating." I respond, I don't want my band to get in trouble.

"Well that's fine, but another group is scheduled for this place in a half an hour. Take you're celebration somewhere else."

"Okay, thank you for reminding us," I say, already hurrying to pack up.

When I'm heading to the dressing room someone grabs my arm and pulls me to the side.

"You were fantastic!" Hunter says, his eyes full of excited wonder.

"Oh hi, thanks." I smile, completely flattered by the compliment. "Um, how long have you been here?"

"Not long, we just finished up some business and I heard you were here, thought I'd drop by."

Jason comes up to us, he throws his arm around my shoulders, I almost topple over as he leans against me and I push him off, giggling.

"Hunter hi," Jason greets him. Then he turns his attention to me, "so the band wants to go out together tonight. Eric knows a fun karaoke place. You in?"

"Sounds cool!"

"Great, Hunter would you like to come?"

Why did Jason have to ask Hunter?

"Why not? I'm in." Hunter accepts.

"Awesome! Hey guys, they're in!" He yells back at the group. "See ya there."

"What, no plans?" I ask as Jason walks away.

"Nope, none that come to mind."

"Okay, well then would you mind giving me a ride? My car's back at the home, Jason picked me up this morning."
